Multipolarity II - Game Thread

Let's crunch the numbers, shall we?

Partitionania: 32 troops
Angola: 19 troops
USSR: 86 troops

Total client troops: 122 (whopping 35 from Siberia. Thanks thorvald!)
Total ally troops: 77

Assuming clients and allies give a measly 1/4 army count..

50 extra armies. Assuming they only give 1/4.

You lose.

As for UoC, Katterland, Rome jumping in.

1) China wanted to pounce thor, I would have supported them with tech/aid.

2) Victoria wanted to pounce Katterland

3) Rome wouldn't have significantly helped.

4) All the alliances against me fizzed into oblivion. Why should this last one be different? >.>

3) Say that to my nukes, please.
4) Somehow you managed to get a ******** amount of income despite being the target of multiple embargoes, and barely suffer at all. Meanwhile, the rest of the people against you were the ones who suffered. Yep, perfect ******* logic right there, huh?

3) I'm at 550 tech this turn, it's awful likely I would roll nukes and have em prepped to bomb you.

I could buy 500 SDI tech.

4) Say half the world embargoes me. I've got 1000 in the bank, yo. I can dump 700 into industry. Now what? Trade makes up like 1/10th of my income. No big deal.

So what if states declare war on me? I've got 14 client states. UoC had some too, but I think should our clients clash, they will at least cancel each other out (I got some of the clients with huge-ass armies, like Siberia with 35 itself).

I just don't see how I'm worse off than I was turn 3 or 4, when I zerged redspy. At least then, I had bio weapons on my tail, multiple nations angry at me, 3 embargo waves, and a united excuse (genocide) to attack me.

Now I've got nothing against me really. Anyone nuking me would pay with loads of embargoes and retaliation.

T1 nukes just aren't that good. Got 10? Great! 500 income worth of nukes could kill 10% of my pop.

Big deal.

I can confirm I was going to jump in next turn, and coup my clients back.

Why not call Topsecret to nuke our enemies? Traitors must be eliminated!

As expected Kinich. Fortunately, I had the 100-200 income from that client, as well as some of its troops from this turn.

I got a 400 boost in economy from all my couped clients. Although I may not have had em for too long, this one turn was the turning point. :3

The game ended at a most climatic point. This is akin to the Allies landing in Normandy, then all the sudden God comes out and says "sorry I don't wanna do this anymore." and now world is awaiting an epilogue written by Jesus. A winner can't be decided based on the circumstances. Not in my opinion at least.

Good thing this has never happened before in an IOT, and especially not in one of Tany's games, or some of us might be feeling some negative emotions.

Opps I mean WAAAAGH!

Using the above analogy..

I'm like the Antichrist, and the DC are my demonspawn. Jesus is going to be like "yeah, USSR got roflstomped by everyone else, they sucked, and UoC rocks booty!"

You seem to have the incorrect impression that thor is a douche bag.

I'm just saying, thorvald doesn't like me. Given the fact that I stole half his clients, including some well paying ones..

I just dont see the epilogue to be too Russian-favored. (do note thor wanted me kicked from the game)..

Soo..

Resubbing, as I always like Thorvald's RPs.

@Thorvald: If you need some divine intervention to help bring about an apocolypse, the Formatting Crew are at your service. :p

Thor - no formulae really need doing. Just allocate spending for armies and let the hilarity ensue. :p

Thorvald, follow with the USSR spirit and spend all those 1000 coins on some juicy armies, maybe some navy tech. If I get nukes, a nuke or two lobbed somewhere wouldn't be bad ;)

Dammit. This game ended as I was starting the restoration of George's Imperium and the Chinese Tanks rolled in Asia.

MP2 will serve quite nicely as MP3's beta. :mischief:

But first, TSR and TUG await. ;)

The game ended at a pivotal moment for my plan for the sidelining of a certain nuisance and the re-unification for Australia could of proceeded nicely. Regardless I learnt some things from this particular simulation which I will have to apply in future games.

I always win when time takes its course, but hastening victory and increasing efficiency is always a good thing for any instrument of mine. :p

Mandatum is now civil in conflict as Vito Di Caprio become General Director thanks to the end. This will be fun.

Reasonably sure that the Antichrist was 1) not involved in WWII and 2) not real. So I guess the analogy still makes perfect sense.

Also, one game is the next's beta. Tany is just like EA/Sega/Activision/all the others.

He is more evil than EA.
