Namibian TV 7:
Welcome to the Namibia TV News with:
Jim (J):
Nganobi (N):
J: People of Namibia, welcome to our news. Let's see our news in titles:
The Government considers selling bankrupt Companies
The War against the Vampires: The Genocide of the South Namibian Population
Interview with Mr. Lucas Mulhara, leader of the Federalists
J: Well, let's first talk about the new economical policy that the Coalition Government will follow. It seems that the Government will sell and privatize some of the bankrupted companies. Nganobi, can you tell us more?
N: Yes. Well, the Government wants money right now. A lot. The State needs money to recover from the war. And most importand: the war has not ended yet and the Government needs to pay large amounts of money to keep it's army modern and able to fight. As you know, many state owned companies have bankrupted because of the war. So, the Government considers selling those companies and make them private. So, some economists think that Namibia will become a mixed economy with strong socialist elements, instead of a Communist economy.
J: We shall wait for the officials of the Government to officially announce. Now, we have to talk about what has affected almost the entire population for more than 6 years. The war. Thousands and thousands of soldiers die each day. More than 62,000 Namibians , mainly civilians, died this year alone. The atrocities of the Vampires against our nation are horrific. Nganobi, can you inform us about the current situation?
N: Before 4 years, Namibia had a large and strong economy and was the most populous country on earth. Now the economy is destroyed. More than 40% of the Namibian population has died. The entire country is in flames. But this year, we managed, thanks to the ferocity of the Namibian resistance, to start a great offensive and retake most of South Namibia. 70,000 Namibians are now again free. However, this success came with a huge cost: 12 armies wiped out and 62,000 civilians dead. The Government now has the support of the international community and wants to finish the war as soon as it can. However, the war will not be over, even if the last Vampiric army in Namibia is destroyed. Mozambique occupies a huge amount of Namibian territory, and once the war in the Southern front is won, the Government shall move armed forces from the Southern front to the Mozambique front to attempt to retake the lost provinces and secure the military victory of Namibia. The Government says that ''only a military victory will secure the independence of Namibia''.
J: So the Government will soon send large forces to attempt to defeat Mozambique?
N: Not really. Right now the priority of the Government and the military leadership is to defeat the Vampires. But next year, we can expect an all out offensive against Mozambique.
J: What are the goals of the Government to Mozambique?
N: The Government wants mainly to restore the occupied Namibian territory, although some voices also call for the annexation of the pre-war Western part of Mozabique, in order to ensure that Mozambique will not attempt a war of revenge against Namibia. The Government believes that if the victory is diplomatic or a ceasefire, then the war will continue again in a few years. So the Government wants a decisive military victory in order to end the war. Also, the Government wants to restore to power the old Mozambique Government and one of the terms for peace will be the restoration of the old Government and a signing of military alliance with Namibia and a cutting of all ties with the Vampires.
J: Thank you for the information. Now, we have the honor to welcome Mr. Lucas Mulhara, the leader of the Federalist African Party, the largest opposition party.
Lucas Mulhara (L):
J: Welcome Mr. Lucas.
L: Hello Jim. I am glad to be here.
J: Can you tell for what the Federalist African Party stands?
L: It stands for democracy, for free market, for ecology and a new Green world. It stands for peace, but it also stands for the independence of Namibia and military victory over the Vampires. But most of all, it stands for a federal union of all African states, so peace and economic development can be secured for the whole of Africa.
J: So, what will be your ecological policies?
L: We will protect the enviroment from pollution and use new renewable resources.
J: When you say that Africa must unite in a Federal Union, what do you mean?
L: I mean that all African States should unite into one EU like organazation with common currency and that all States in the Federation should have a policy of non aggression against other African States.
J: Can you tell us more about your economic policy?
L: We believe in free market. We believe in a capitalist economy.
J: Thank you for coming here. Now our news end. I will see you again in 12 hours. Until then, have a good day.
