I think Pacal's Folly is much better - I do not think everybody is trying to decipher our city names. But maybe I am underestimating RB
This is a nice list of Sanskrit words. The link that Classical Hero posted didn't work for me ( it said Wikipedia doesn't have a page by that title) Some of the names I like: Ananda - bliss or joy Mahamaya - the grand illusion Satsang - true communication Seva - selfless service Shakti - devine energy Jaya - victory
Yes, both very good names. Shakti and Seva too. Do we rename the captured cities btw? I personally like to leave the original names to remember to the whole world how many enemies I had fought and how much cities I have taken from them
My preference is to rename them to have a consistent theme through all our cities. If we can somehow make them sound a little more Spanish or Zulu, all the better. Short of that, choosing names with meanings such as "Victory" or "Triumph" or "Revenge" would work, too. Of course, they should retain their Zulu names until they have come out of revolt and have truly entered our fold.
I'd like to keep the Zulu names, and give Chinook and any other cities we found in that area Zulu names as well.
So I was happily going through naming a bunch of stuff, starting with our unnamed cities Spoiler : Then I went through and started getting all our unnamed units. That was quite a job, needing to alternate between the game and my desktop to check out the list of mods and admins. About 3/4 of the way through, I crashed the game Caledorn had to reload to our last autosave, and all that work was lost Oh well, might try again at some point in the future... Edit: I'm linking the page I'm using to get the admin / mod names here, since I always struggle to find it when I need it. http://forums.civfanatics.com/showgroups.php
