Hmm, maybe I haven't been clear on that point, but the objective in this game is not 18 SCs, since there are more of them to begin with. The objective for a solo win is to hold more than half of the SCs. In the normal game there are 33 SCs, half (rounded up) is 17, so the goal is 18. Here there are 40 SCs which makes the goal 21.

OK, just so I don't pull down everyone else, I will say now that I am quitting this game. Basically, with the exception of weekends, I don't get enough time for this, and it becomes a hassle to send in orders. I think it would be more fair if someone else took over Mexico, who had the time.

Sigh, so we're one player short again. And it's not a dying chanceless nation, so continuing on without a Mexican player would seriously disrupt the game. Four dropouts of 8(9) possible, this game has been truly ridiculous so far. Get me a new player for Mexico and I'll resume, otherwise this game is on hold.
