Eh. I was gonna write a story about Brazil's government, but I'm tired and don't feel like it. So instead I'll just tell you.

So following the coup d'etat that established Vargas as the dictator of Brazil, a three month lull existed until the actual government charter was writen up. It established O Estado Novo de Brasil, The New State of Brazil, as a basic socio-capitalist country. While free trade was still implimented, the government has been charged to take up itself the task of caring for its citizens by granting basic reforms. Those reforms have already begun.

The actual government of Brazil is a dictatorship with Vargas clearly in power. While there is a national assembly made up from representitives from all over the country, it has little power and no say in running the country. Its there mearly for looks.
