i didnt now that we had to choose the real goverment at the time or that we have the choice in what goverment we wanted. If we didnt have a choice why did anyone ask. Noone said that we should stick to what we had in OTL, if only because this is an althist, and a pretty free-form one at that (well, as compared to most of mine). This world never had WWI, at least to the best of my knowledge, and that - along with other changes - implies that there might as well be a socialist democratic France.

Why ask what the government was because apparently everyone already new what the governments was and nothing has changed. my point is why would someone ask when nothing has changed or can change and according to some players they choice is determined by what it was in r/l in the 1920's. But we are the players shouldent we get to have what goverment we want to have, I say might as well

Nobody forces it to be a monarchy, you can also control your domestic policies in NESing you know not just foreign, Scandinavia was a monarchy too in the beginning of this game. More than anything, a NES is a story, so if you want something to happen in your nation, just write stories about it and tell it in your orders and its done.

Thats why we have story NESes instead of board NESes; in story NESes we can do whatever the fudge we want (as long as the mod allows it). If it wasn't like that, why not simply go back to playing board NESes?
