Since when did Sheep get a bad reputation? he is a good neser.

I suppose the Ummayads could have had a secret project/Wonder that took forever and gave them an economy boost a huge army and lots of converts.
although it would have had to have been completely secret not even showing up in the stats.

Well, some of it could be this. That's page 10 as I type. Check out pages 9 and 11, too.

I'm not sure where he got the other reputation, though. The one for rapidly switching government a lot ("Sheep Syndrome") and taking a new nation after the govtless one rioted at the changes.

NES2 I, to refresh your memory. And then NES2 III. In both he wildly changed governments, causing both Oceania (his NES2 I nation) and Russia (his NES2 III nation) to simply collapse into civil war.

He probably does that because updates are once a week now, when before you could have a few updates in the space of a week.
I often get ahead of myself when planning and then either forget my original plan or merely the specifics of it. The same with stories

Stay on topic folks. If you post here, you should either post a map or at the very least comment on the ones already posted. :)

And you can't forget he leaked information to a suspected ally of stalin's Communists Germany resulting in Communists preparation against the forces of Democracy ;)

Is there any source for an Early Warring State map? I have bannanalee's, but his is a bit ah... late.

Heres a map I finished working on after about a month.

The Ummayad Caliphate rose because of good orders, but even moreso because of utterly insane story bonuses (this exploitation of the story bonus system has become known as the Prophet Syndrom; stories were antalogized into a book called the Koran) and because of both of its neighbours having oversacrificed economy in their last war. Also the Visigoths were ruled by Sheep.

What nes was this?? I have NEVER been the Visigoths. And quite frankly I am getting sick of your attacks on my nesing. Indeed I have made a mistake or two, but who hasnt? Its all part of nesing, you learn from those mistakes.

Need I remind you of Carthage in ITNES?, Arabia in rtor2 (when I beat off both China and Egypt!) Egypt in stJNES4.

If you doubt my ability have a look at ICNES, I have made Austria from a second rate European backwater to a major power second only to Britian and France in the space of three turns!!!

I would like an apology and for you to cease these attacks das, just because I dont agree with you being cast as some kind of demi-god in the nesing forums doesnt mean I deserve such snide and rude remarks.

Oh and as for this Sheep Syndrome thing I STILL object to that, and would like all reference to it deleted. I dont particularly like it. Has anyone actually ever paused to think that a civil war is what I actually wanted. Hell sometimes fighing them is fun. Just not in das's neses as he doesnt understand the concept of creating a story and nesing is not all about winning.

Oh and for all those people that think I am going over the top, I have put up with this sort of bullfeathers for four years now and I am getting mighty tired of it.

Oh and thanks emu, at least someone around here knows what I am capabale of.

Oh and does anyone remember my efforts in Goobernes. Indeed you might not think it but keeping the ENTIRE Islamic World together in a Union was bloody hard work.

I dont always play for the win, I play for the enjoyment and yeah sometimes that means intentionally runing my nation as that is fun too. If anyone has ever nesed at Apolyton (where I was before I came here) they might remember a guy called civman2000 who in EVERY nes would have a civil war for fun.

I still want that god damn apology das, these attacks have gone too far, and I also want you to stop calling this so called Sheep Syndrome by my name and find another less defamotory way to describe it as I am not the only one to ever do such a thing as change governments.

Oh and before you say its unrealistic, plenty of governments have changed more than once in a year. Russia your homeland in 1917 for example!!!!

Moderator Action: Sheep - warned, off topic posting, language. This thread is not the venue for your complaints.

das - knock it off with the Sheep Syndrome.

Erik, you have to admit though that 70% of those threads on that page are actually threads for OTHER NESes. Although I admit that a couple of years ago (when those threads were made it was like two to three years ago now) I did have a problem with finding a nes that I actually enjoyed modding.

Sorry Turner just saw the warning after I posted that, I will knock it off now I had to put and stop to it though, after 4 years.

As always, if there's a post that offends you or you belive goes against the forum rules, report it.

What nes was this??

See "Real World NES" thread.

and quite frankly I am getting sick of your attacks on my nesing.

Be more specific - what attacks?

If you doubt my ability

I do not doubt your ability, especially your ability to cause all sorts of chaos. ;)

I have made Austria from a second rate European backwater to a major power second only to Britian and France in the space of three turns!!!

Technically it was a major power second only to Britain, France and Russia in OTL as well. :p

just because I dont agree with you being cast as some kind of demi-god in the nesing forums

You don't? Hmph, we'll just put you down, along with North King and EQandCivFanatic, into the "heretic list" - hope you don't mind the heat. ;)

Has anyone actually ever paused to think that a civil war is what I actually wanted

And this is precisely what I meant under Sheep Syndrome - you like to make your nations implode. What I do not understand is: a) why do you complain when they DO implode, and b) why are you opposed to me saying that you DO tend to change governments very often - with the purpose of causing civil war, apparently.

Reno's requested island-world map now with rough black outlines on the islands (map took three minutes, black borders ten), and one of the rotating things which Silver sparked. 60 frames, not 400, covering the world from the six pole angles.

Reno's map in spoiler:

And the rotator in a link, otherwise this thread would be MURDER on the part of 56k users.

I don't know about mountains (the height function I used is just "inwards=higher"), but you can get the islands quite easily, even with paint. Open image, invert colors, save as monochrome (1-bit or 2-bit) coloring. Everything nonwhite becomes black. Invert again to get the colors right. Seriously, even without the GIMP, you should learn to do this.
