Use the Collegiate Atlas of the World from National Geographic, only $6 USD on amazon. ($40 if not) Not the best for maps, they have a tendency to disappear in the binding, but has a good amount of coordinates in the back.

FIRST 53 CANADIAN CITIES (screw that site, I used the wiki link and maporama/other resources). Why 53? Because those are the ones with populations over 50000. The other 50 are soon to come.

The list looks good, though I wonder about the exact cut off point for the 'greater area'. IE: I think that Vancouver can encompass White Rock as well.

[EDIT] Fixed Canadian listing: deleted ON Windsor (vs. MI Detroit), ON Georgetown (vs. ON Milton), QC Granby (vs. Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu). Messed with Connecticut and New Jersey (major deletion: Newark, vs. New York City) variously. Creating thread...
