NES World/Regional Maps Requests Thread

I hate the forward/backward buttons on my mouse. Cause me to go back and lose lots of typing. Grr.

Uh, it has rivers. Although the total elimination of a sea-land border in the full-scale one, as well as that particular shade of blue, is not within my tastes.

Dis, would it be possible to get the version with the lat/long lines, and 1-pixel rivers? On the modern border map? Also, may want to add Lake Biwa, Geneva, and the Tonle Sap, amongst others.

Dis is there any way to make a land-sea border into that big map.I tried ot do it with Photoshop but it wouldn't let me alter anything sept paint over it.

Since when are you back? I know you... only by your reputation, really. But it kind of makes me happy to witness NESers return. If you indeed have returned? (It should be mandatory for NESers to announce it when they come back. Gelion, will you put it up in "The Rules of NESing"? :D)

@SymphonyD:?
Spoiler :

More lakes may have wait until I finish downloading the geographical information.

Edit: Crap forgot lat and long...maybe later

:eek: That is so DETAILED! ACH! *faints*

And to think some fools hated it when that map was first posted. And yes, that'd be perfect with the lat-long lines. Europe does seem to be missing a few major rivers (Ebro, Seine, etc.) but it's not a terribly big deal.

BTW - Panda, should I still wait for you to do the map? Maybe someone else could if you can't right now?

Do you want lat and long on the land or just the sea? I've only have the data for rivers with over a certain amount of annual flow - those puny european rivers aren't good enough :D though I haven't explored all the directories...their may be more lurking somewhere :O!

Just the sea. Like in the original.

I reopened my final NES, didn't I? Of course I'm back :). It's a stealth return. Don't want a flooded PM box, you know.

Mapgasm... OMG thats amazing. If only there weren't modern borders on it:( And it could be edited in paint:(

It's a .PNG... of course you can edit it in paint!

Post it without modern borders and that could be the best map I have seen.Sept the water color disappoints me.

I wish I could, but how many cartographers do we have left here?
