Sultan Seljaz will prepare for his esteemed Emperor of China's arrival. He shall make sure that Constantinople is the highlight of the Emperor's voyage.
OOC: the story i'm posting is about the Taj Mahal, the next about Egypt, and then Constantinople

But at this rate i'll never finish....
Agra, FK India
Your Majesty, in the horizon there is the Taj Mahal. Construction began in 1631 and ended in 1653 on the orders of the Mughul Shah Jahan who ordered it built as a mausoleum for his wife. Also to the west you shall see Agra Fort, which was originally a red sandstone fortress however it was converted by Shah Jahan as a palace and rebuilt extensively with marble and made fit for a Shah. Please forgive the delay to the Taj Mahal, but the weather has not been very cooperative and the streets are wet with water forcing the carriage to go at a slower pace. The Emperor merely nodded at it and looked outside towards the homes lining the streets.
Outside, off the path cleared for the Emperor the common folk of the city of Agra gathered for a once in a lifetime opportunity. To see the Emperor of China, a tale worthy of telling their children and grandchildren most of them poor, and dirty members of the Poor Class itching for a chance to see life above them, to see the wealth of Monarchs.
Upon approaching the fabled Taj Mahal the Emperor gasped, a noise extremely audible in the quiet carriage. The building was breath taking, the architecture and design completely foreign to the Emperor.
As you see Your Majesty, the Taj Mahal was designed by people from throughout the Muslim World. The Khan Ismail of Turkey himself designed the main dome. The construction efforts itself were enormous as over 1000 elephants participated in the construction work with the materials coming from throughout Asia. The white marble is from Rajasthan, jasper from Punjab, jade and crystal from China, turquoise from Tibet, and other various precious stones from India.
The people within the carriage Chinese Consul of Agra, the native guide, the Emperor, and his personal bodyguard descended from the carriage to see the glory of the Taj Mahal in person. The white marble dome dominated the skyline with the reflecting pool glistening from the light as the 4 walked along the road followed by a distance by the Emperors guards.
Reaching the main gateway the young guide began to speak only to be silenced by a raised hand from the Emperor whom leaned closer to inspect the calligraphy and painting on the gateway before proceeding onwards and opening the door and stopping. Beyond the gateway was a beautiful garden lush with plants, trees in full bloom and fountains. The three Chinese sharply in took air observing the marvel of its beauty a testimony to the glory of the Mughal Dynasty.
The Emperor stopped here and turned back: We will not desecrate the tomb of a person of royal lineage. Come, we are going to Bombay. Consul, arrange for seeds of the plants you see hear to be transported to China to be planted in the gardens in the Forbidden Palace. My dear guide you have been most informative. *Reaches into coat pocket and takes out a wad of British Pounds* Your tip good sir.
The guide saw the tip and promptly got on his knees. Thank you Your Majesty, my family shall remember your generosity forever. The Emperor looked on with disdain and shock his head.
Where is your dignity? Your pride? Your people have lost their backbone in the pursuit of wealth, may you gain something from this.
Upon this the Emperor, his guard and the Consul left with the guide following closely.
Their time in India was past, to Egypt and the Ottoman Empire!
