Furthermore, the French Kingdom announces that it has yet again compromised over the Treaty of Paris, granting all of Africa south of Senegal to the Portugese kingdom. France has done this to ensure a lasting peace, but we must remind Portugal that we are giving our african colonies in an act of charity, and not because Portugal is telling us to. France is alarmed at the aggressive tone which the Portugese government has been taking with us, especially considering that this is our war, and the only real reason the Portugese government joined was because it saw that the Spanish crown could not stand up to the might of the French Kingdom. France has lost much more in this war, and therefore deserves much more. Furthermore, France will not tolerate the destruction of the Incan, Continental or the Grenadine rebels within South America, as both groups have a right to their freedom with the collapse of the Spanish overseas empire.
