NES2 VI - Last Semblance of Order.

OOC: Stalin, there's no war going on between China and Japan. We already signed the Treaty of Macao to end that. Unless you were referring to some other war or treaty.

OOC:

On the map, I thought the Russians controlled Jutland now?

Sorry, map mistake.

He probably forgot, hell, he forgot to tell me that they had reached peace with Byzantium.

Panda is quite forgetful these days as far as diplomacy goes... don't worry, silver.

Could you tell me what went wrong in the other two? (Zhongguojing and Xian)

These areas are fairly damaged and war-torn, so it will take some time to properly rebuild the agriculture there.

Strange, seems like I DID forget the conscripts after all upon a double-check... Will fix.

They forgot about it, actually, not me.

Did you finish the stats? I gained neither ships nor my mil. leadership increase. I assume the divisions are correct since I can't be bothered to count

LOL, I remember forgetting the Swedes, but what about the military leadership? I'm quite sure I did raise it...

This is pointless now, France regins supreme no one can challenge it

For now. It isn't as supreme as FK, anyway. Lets see how things develop anyway, maybe I'll do a BT for this.

shows superpowered countries always win

Surprise-surprise, they do. ;) Unless there are other, stronger superpowered countries around.

anyhow whats wrong with a nes that has a few years of world peace? i want this to continue.

Btw, good point. Pretty much all the countries suffered from the war to a certain extent, and rebuilding is not much easier than fighting. And there still are several secondary, but still significant conflicts going even if we put the World War aside.

As for the question of a BT, I'd like to go a few more turns before that happens, as France wishes to atleast have some time to lick her wounds before we are flung into yet another chaotic decade. ;)

Lick her wounds? Looking at your stats, France came out more or less unscathed.

All that will ofcourse be rebuilt within the theoretical BT.

Anyway, its even good that I'm leaving, you'll have time to work out the exact peace settlement without too much of a hurry.

I would rise in the Americas as well but considering it was colonized by the French(I dont know any kewl French dudes) it wouldnt be so fun for me.

Though Fouche is better by far.

Talleyrand was indeed very interesting, however, he switched sides too often. ;)

IC:

TO: Chancellor Frederick von Dunkelheit of the Greater German Republic, Tsar Vladimir IV of the Russian Union
FROM: His Royal Highness, Julien-François I, King of the French
CC: The International Community

France accepts the unconditional surrender of the Forces of the Greater German Republic, aswell as accepts the proposal of Armistice by the Russian Union. We shall publish a draft of terms from which to Negociate by in the coming days.

From: The Islamic Caliphate
To: Abysinnia

We do admittedly have no love for the Mughals, but we have no desire to intervene in your conflict with Sennar at this time.

From: The Islamic Caliphate
To: Dar al-Islam

We would prefer to settle this conflict amiably, and have absolutely no desire to continue a war with you. Our only conflict was with the now dead Ottomans. Here is our proposal:

1. The Islamic Caliphate will relinquish all of Arabia to the control of Dar al-Islam.

2. Dar al-Islam will recognize the gains of the Caliphate in Egypt, which will be renamed to the Egyptian Caliphate, ruled by Caliph Muhammed I. However, Dar al-Islam will be recognized by Egypt as the leaders of the Islamic world.

3. Egypt will sign a permanent NAP with Dar al-Islam, and a Defensive Alliance. Egypt is obliged to participate in all the wars of Dar al-Islam, circumstances providing.

4. Egyptians will be allowed to freely make the hajj to Mecca.

OOC: It would be hard to control Egypt anyway silver, since a French controlled Sinai is in the way. If I can keep just Egypt, we'll hand the rest over, rather than you having to crush a stubborn rebellion.

Talleyrand was indeed very interesting, however, he switched sides too often.

Which is why he outlived everybody else. ;)
