Let's not forget that the moon belongs to America and it's Astromen. ;) Had to include another Simpsons quote.

You'll be surprised how much a role Australia had in the moon landing. If you had seen the Movie "The Dish". Don't worry if you have not seen it because it is an Australian film and i doubt it would have been shown outside of Australia

"Oh my god! Space aliens! Don't eat me, I have a wife and kids! Eat them!" ;)

I saw the movie but it didn't strike me as that a big of a role...

I dont believe they were on the moon. I watched once this show about the facts that they weren't up there, but it was aired 2 years ago, and by now I forgot them :( .

So how about learning some new and actuall facts that prove that what you saw 2 years ago was nothing but a silly conspiracy? :)

Many posts here provided links to credible sites that prove beyond reasonable and unreasonable doubt that men were indeed on the moon.

I'm reminded of an old joke:

At The Pearly Gates, as most everyone knows, Saint Peter asks the newly deceased if they would like any Earthly questions answered before entering Paradise. "My chance," says the assassination theorist, and he screams, "Who shot John F. Kennedy?"

Saint Peter says calmly, "Why, Lee Harvey Oswald."

Slapping his forehead the theorist says, "My God, the conspiracy goes higher than I thought!"

(My thanks to Leonard Earl Johnson for reminding me of this joke.)

I'm not sure if have we ever been to the moon. Anyone who thinks Neil Armstrong went there and back in that craft made from plastic tubes and tin foil is a ******.

You wanna provide a scrap of evidence that it was fake?

Indeed because it shows his lack of knowledge in the materials that make up a space craft. You realize that the components of the Saturn V rocket launcher and lunar lander are made up of more than just "plastic tubes and tin foil."

There's conspiracy theories, and then there's conspiracy theories. This one is obviously the latter.

To pull off a conspiracy this big, it needs the silence of all involved, and of the foe at the time - evil Red Soviets. The latter would have squealed uncle at a single piece of evidence, and the likelihood of all involved keeping quiet over 35 years is very slim. This is even before we address the scientific proof and the pseudoscience of the conspiracists.

Furthermore, this isn't just a cranky theory. In perpetuating it, the memories and legacy of those who died, from both the US and the USSR, in the Space Race are seriously defiled and impugned. Astronauts burned alive in a horrible manner in humanitys quest for the moon. It irks me no end that their sacrifice, and the danger faced and significant achievements of countless men and women are thrown down the well by chasers of the dragon.

as usual, betazed shows up with a link that clears it all up

EDIT:

I remember some NASA guys admitted that SOME of the moon pics they sell are studio productions - simply because the real images are not color saturated enough for sale. These pics are made to look like the real pics.
If you check them you WILL find incorrect shadows etc. - but NASA never pretended THESE are real, as opposed to the real pics where the shadows can easily be explained the way they are (see betazed's link).

Definately, otherwise the lunar lander would've burned in the lunar atmosphere, wouldn't it?

I think this thread has gone about as far as it can - which wasn't too far in the first place
