Tsk. Tsk. Normans are out too. (Thank the gods) N comes before P.

Thats hardcore. My goodness.

I'm quite pleased with the Civs inclusion. Just reading the various guesses on this thread, I had no idea who any of the leaders are. Looking forward to learning more about them.

Damnit!
Dyslexia strikes again!
Now I'm actually bummed about the fact that neither Italy, Hungary nor the Normans will be in BNW. :(

I'm pretty bummed too. I can't think of what European civ it could be, except for Venice.

I think this probably means the case for Venice is stronger. We still have a European civ coming (unless Morocco is counted as one too) and it has to be between the letters Por and Zu.

Plus the German review that said we would have a pro civ and the existing city state theory makes it possible that Venice will be that Pro Civ.

I think Hungary is still possible as well, people just think Venice/Italy based on the CS theory mostly.

Alphabet Achievement Theory would knock Hungary too.

Pro civ?

You guys remeber that resource linked to a certain civilization, right? Any chance it could be with Morocco or Indonesia? I can really think of Buffalos and Sioux or Glass and Venice.

BTW, I'm happy that Venice's chances got higher. Personally, I prefer them over Italy. I'd be happy to see any of them, though.

Aww, where's the luv for female leaders? Maria's getting a bit lonely now.
Discussion about the European civ is going to be interesting now.

This - what the heck happened to all the women? Gods & Kings had nearly half of the new Civilizations led by women (Maria Theresa, Boudicca, Theodora and Dido, making it 4 out of 9, or 44,(4)%), and now, out of 7, only 1 is a woman (Dona Maria I, weirdly enough ).

Even if both of the other ones are woman (which is highly doubtful, given that one of them is likely Venice), that'd make 3 out of 9, or 33,(3)%, significantly lower than before! And, really, who could be the other two civilizations where they would get a woman leading them? We know one of them is European, so likely it's Venice, and Doges couldn't really be women (if I recall correctly). If we didn't get Venice, but Vietnam, then yeah we could get the Trung Sisters, but then who would be the new European civ?
This is a bit unusual for Firaxis... :crazyeye:

I am assuming this is Indonesia/Majapahit/Java/etc of course, but it's likely that it is...

You can definitely not count Morocco as a European civ, that would be just too weird.

A little montage for the skeptical :) :

That's Raden Wijaya and a Majapahit gate.
