Will do! What I meant to add is that I tend to lose when I get cocky. The AI gives me a life lesson almost every time -- not just militarily, but diplomatically.
 
I keep rewriting this message because it doesn't convey what I want. But the point is, I think we're getting very close to a stable release that a non-developer/random reddit user could play and feel confident in.
 
I have the game crashing on me with the latest update. I tested to reinstall the game and delete all the mod files and reinstated them.

Where can i sand a crhach report and where do i find it on my PC?

it's in the same folder than your civ.exe, usually in steam/apps/common/civ5
it's the CvMiniDump.dmp, copy it to a random file hosting service on internet and put the link on your report.

Great Diplomat issue is known, already fixed. Ilteroi accidentally made it so that GDs would only leave home if they could get to a CS in one turn. :)

Fixed as in the latest release? Or do we have to wait? I am still keeping my finger off the trigger... you spoiled me G, I want the perfect game and every time I see one of those reports I cannot start.

It's fixed in the source code that will be delivered in the next release.
 
Villages now sometimes do not get the bonus from roads (that are connecting cities) because they are ALSO connected by a lighthouse. This seems to be an oversight.
 
I can't press next turn, it does nothing such as spam enter, it's on the turn just after I met the last civ and unlock the WC, there is a way to unlock this?
 
Turned out the issues I had with the 06-28 version was not a CP problem, but a disfunctional/incompatible mod from whoward (the Tourism quest). So things run smoothly.

BUT!

I may be completely out of tune here, but has the events feature been disabled? :confused: Or is that another case of mod incompatibility from my end. Everything runs perfectly fine with the 07-01 version, but no events happen. It's been like this for the last couple of versions btw., but I thought that was just another symptom of the problems I had.

On CP alone events are disabled by default, on CBO events are enabled by default. On either version you can enable or disable events manually in advanced game settings (when settling up a game).

Oh fancy, I didn't know that. It used to be on by default before? Anyway, thanx for the tip! :thumbsup:
 
I've been having a great time with this new beta, wanted to share some thoughts regarding this new version:
-The AI seems to always tech up very fast form industrial onward and it can be hard to keep a runaway in check (I'm playing emperor)
-The way the AI values city is total crap, I have to be honest, they value cities with 25 pop, a wonder or two and almost all buidings at 1500 (with the transparent diplomacy), meanwhile their crappiest cities seems to value between 7k and 49k, although most of the time they won't even sell them. As of right now buying cities is very hard (I don't mind) but selling a city is completely pointless unless you wanted to get rid of it in the first place.

PD: I know this should be reported in github, but might as well post it here to see if it happens to anyone else, sometimes the AI seems to be able to sell luxuries (only 1 copy left), and although the deal will seem to go through (both parties accept), it won't really get through, so sometimes you can't trade with luxuries which the AI only has 1 copy left.

142 turns on this version (which runs great btw) now and no events so far. Using full mod pack (+other mods).
