You should bet again and leave the worker there next turn to test your theory
Venice likes the good atmosphere here and everyone should be happily constructing wonders and buildings

However, LostKnight has already been absent for 6 days and we don't know when he resumes his game as Brazil. So I suggest that we should set a turn timer for this game: 4 days, and 3 skips allowed before kick. If AI manages Brazil for three turns, it will not hurt much the civ in this stage of the game.
Well, holiday season comes, so I think it is reasonable that players may go to a long break. And last time Kiffe had holiday in France so this time I'm sure it's the holiday in NA. Also Christmas is coming so I don't think we will be moving much quicker. Can we please wait for a little longer?

And that's a shame... so many players are slowing so many game... Christmas holidays are in 15 days at least...

In the eyes of Venice people, Morocco should pay at least 2 gold per turn as compensation to settle this issue with Portugal people, it is the price of open border and to be fair the price should be higher as it is conducted through the act of war.

should we consider this an invitation of war against the peaceful Venice? If so, Venice people will not take this ill intention lightly and future diplomatic and financial resources will be used to help your rival overrun you when time comes.

We just want to warn you that building too many world wonders may attract warmongers to the glorious republic of Venice.
Adopting Monument of God helps national wonders as well, which is the main strength of Venice and the true purpose of this pantheon.
World wonders are nice, but we only aim to get 3 of them so far, which aren't that whore of wonder building and the discounted cost of wonders have similar cost of 3 settlers. We would rather get a few cargos up as soon as possible. So don't worry about our defence.
