The Vikings are going to crash back down to Earth...first against the Steelers...then against the Bears. They are a mediocre team thats benefiting from an incredibly soft schedule aside from the Giants game. I saw that game, Minnesota had something like 7 yards of offense in the first half and only put a real drive together at the very end to win it.

Mike Tice should STILL be fired, he is one of the reasons this team doesnt have 10-11 wins. He has been the last few years too.

btw, I picked the Vikings to be in the superbowl at the beginning of the year so its not like Im a random Vikings hater.

Shame,shame--fear the northmen :viking:

I fear the Redskins more than the Vikings...and I NEVER fear the Redskins :p

:spank: , They will make the playoffs, The D is finally coming together. Brad Johnson's one quality is he doesn't make mistakes, if its not there, he won't force it. Its not an offensive to fear, but their NOT quiting--which they were the first @ 5 games of the season

thats good to know...the Titans arent quitting either, and neither are the Jets.

Ill believe in them if they beat the Steelers...

What I meant was the talent was there but they were quiters, they've turned that around--and their season

I just think its a crazy coincidence that they were bad during the hard part of the schedule...where every team but the Saints blew them out...and now thier good during the easy part of the schedule.

They lose to good teams and beat bad teams, sounds pretty mediocre to me.

Im just mad because they made me look bad at the beginning of the year though, so Im holding a bit of a grudge :D

btw, here is an interesting question...does Culpepper get his job back when he is healthy? They have a good amount of money invested in him, but Brad Johnson has played waay better. I dont know if they would draft a QB...it doesnt seem like the Vikes have many needs except for maybe a big time WR, so maybe they would draft one.

I would say Brad has earned the job till the end of the season at least.

Culpepper has brett farve disease--I WILL MAKE a play weather its there or not. Brett learned to stop that ( back to it again ) culpepper will have too also. Thats all Johnson is doing--NO mistakes, nothing else, just keeping them in the game with a chance to win. hopefully culpepper see's this and comes back a little more under control..

Draft--need OL bad

Yeah I said that exact thing a bit earlier. I'm sick of second rate sports caster/analysts/whatever that open the paper and see a record and base everything of that. Johnsons playing conservatively and just got incredibely lucky versus the Giants by getting a gift from the Gods themselves (3 types of returns for TDs).

Thats what Im saying...Johnson is hardly playing great, Culpepper is the kind of player who you have to atleast give a chance to start. I dont know what happend to him, maybe your right pawpaw, but he seemed pretty good last year when Moss was out.

Is the offensive line that bad?

Looks like that Lions protest thing was fairly successful. The crowd cheered
as much for the Bengals as for the Lions, and the (very few) crowd shots
showed a fair bit of orange. Is it me, or did the TV people desparately try
to not show the crowd?

ho hum. another day, another bengals domination.

northmen fell apart. not a playoff team. The redskins however, might be

Bledsoe was snubbed...Vick should NOT be in the probowl. I love Vick and all, but come on.

Witten mightve been too, but Im more mad about Bledsoe than anything else.

Cant complain about anything else though.

Wow! Really surprised Vick got in, must have been on his sheer popularity/marketing. He's had a terrible season and he hasn't even done any of his great plays this year. Unfortunately there really aren't too many good QBs in the NFC this year. If Bulger hadn't got injured, not only would he have been in the pro bowl but he could have possibly broken the single season passing record at the rate he was going. The AFC has far better qbs, Brady, Manning, Palmer, Brees, Big Ben, Trent Green and occasionally the likes of Pennington, Plummer and McNair.

Heck, anyone starting in the NFC East was a better pick (except McNabb).
