Isn't quazi virtual-reality what all games are? I'm not looking for a second life when I play games, just a source of entertainment, and I think the Wii *gag* will give me that.

No all games now are pretty much just a source of entertainment, but with the motion capture tech of 'the new nintedno console' things are slowly moving that way.
Nontheless, I'm going to get it. Madden looks awesome, jerk the controller up to hike the ball, then, to pass, hold down the button of the receiver and make a throwing gesture, the harder the "throw" the harder the in-game throw. Jukes and stiff-arms would also be motion related.
I just read about the new Madden game, and I agree it sounds awesome. LoZ: Twilight Princess is going to be compatible with the Wii/Revolution controller, that's the main reason it was delayed til the fall. I'm sure there'll definately be another Zelda game in the future as well. I also heard there is a Super Smash Bros title coming out for the Wii/Revolution as well, which may be interesting how the motion-sensor and accelerometer technology is used for that.
Wii is such a cruddy name for a console. I guess thats why they named it that, so that it would get attention for being unusually named. And plus, the name might be slightly more appealing in Japanese the language of a lot of gamers.
