Skimmed to #182. Need a re-read and look at notes before placing vote but initial gut reactions are Scum possible in Cuth/Lohren, Kenni, Murska, maybe Sips. Not particularly strong on any of these. Wary of Pizza but won't vote there today. Have Spaceman as null, not sure I like the speed/late wagon away from Cuth.
Well, what do you think about Takhisis today? They had 3 votes on them for a while, so that'd be about as close to pressure as we've seen. He seems to have thrown around a bunch of suspicion without any real focus insofar as I can tell. Have you played with him, do you know if it's normal?
Murska, I find this question weird given that Tak seems no different to Rappers.
1. Why ask Pizza this question?
2. Have you played with Tak beyond Rappers?
3. What do you think about him here? Would you expect him to react differently in either alignment?
Hm. So you don't think we'll get much use out of trying to pressure him?
Unvote; Vote: Cuthillius
Hey Cuth. Do you feel like anyone's openings have been artificial in nature? I don't expect anything as obvious as my OP in the rapper game but seeing other people's viewpoints on these help.
Certain roles are inherently better for town to resolve by allowing the mafia to take shots at them.
Early game claimed doctors, early game claimed cops, early game claimed masons.
If those roles survive to the late game after having claimed, there is grounds for suspicion, if those roles claim very late in the game, there is grounds for suspicion, but if they are who they say they are, they will get resolved by mafia murders.
Other roles which are similar but not quite as crucial are roles such as the "innocent child" which is essentially a solo mason that can be revealed at any time simply by PMing the game host. Someone claims innocent child early on, you generally allow for the murder to take care of them.
You can go against those ideas if you suspect they're lies, because sometimes they are lies.
I used a tracker role in a different game to that effect, I used it to track Zack every single night, which would verify his whereabouts and my own, and use the power in a manner which is fairly useless to a mafia team, essentially forming a masonry between myself and Zack. I was quickly murdered off.
I am none of the above roles but I have a similarly easily confirmable active role which must always be eliminated by the murder, or the mafia have bigger cojones than I do.
This is as plain and simple as I can explain it. I am honestly baffled I needed to, but there's a day left in the round and CFC is notorious for having people not move their votes on day one.
*Spoiler moved for reference. FTR I'm eternally wary of Pizza and I found the bold slightly defensive, but his early hint could come from him in either alignment imo. Either way, I think he's likely to be a self resolving player I don't think he should be voted out early.
This is apparently commenting on the fact that there is a separate column for "not alive" people. (2)
In response to my vote, which seems a little blown out of context considering he voted Takh, for again literally no reason. (3)
Saying something unrelated when you vote for someone? Is that a joke? Is it a reason? Tell me, do you enforce high standards on yourself, typically? (4)
This is imo his worst post, commentating and fluff (5)
vote:Lohrenswald
Nothing damning, but pretty good reasoning for halfway through d1 I'd say.
1. Why are 1 and 2 relevant wrt Lohr?
2. Why do you have a problem with Lohr asking for reasons? (Especially weird when you're simultaneously Fos'ing Duff and Sips for lack of explanation).
3. Why does Duff's vote on you stand out more than GK's?
FWIW I can somewhat agree on Lohr and Al Sips atm - Lohr mainly for reaction to the vote from Cuth, Al Sips slightly because his push to vote Pizza is weird and I'm not seeing Town!Sips as per Snakes (slightly null considering he was Town in Rappers and different there also).
I'm null on GK and Duff.
Hm. It's past time we started playing, too. I honestly don't have much of a feel for this game yet, I'm dreadfully busy, but insofar as I can tell there's a few people with two votes and no real pressure on anyone.
Unvote; Vote: ATPG. Third vote on you. You've posted a bit, a seemingly joke vote on choxorn but you do mention that you intend to lynch him with it. Do you have any reason to push him or it it just random? And if it is random, do you have any thoughts on the rest of our players?
No I don't really get it
you claim a kinda important role to get killed?
that's what it sounds like to me, and it doesn't seem like a great thing to do
problem was there was no joke
Spoiler:
Well I tend to think of those as the same...
In Visorslash's game "this is madness" I was lynched because I couldn't remember all the nightorders I had given. It feels odd the sort of miniscule things people latch onto to read me as mafia. I can't help but wisching I had been less active at this point.
Honest opinon is that I think SpørPizzaFyren is putting up some sort of charade or somesuch to hide that he is mafia. Of course, last time I played with him I thought the same and was wrong.
Infact let me take something Glossysushi said in the rapper game
While I was infact mafia, Glossy vastly overestimates my abilities. Ask Al Sipsclar, for example.
as for my vote on Takhisis, he is my arch nemesis and can't be left alone

especially because his opening is so vapid lol, it's ridiculous to expect anyone to get anything at all from that
@spaceman haven't heard or seen inno child. How much experience are we talking here?
the red is Zack seems very fixated on pizza particularly that first post.
I'm really not getting your logic and it seems like a scummy attempt to get Pizza killed for no good reason. And why are Jarrema and spaceman scum? And why do you comment on why it's a good idea to vote Pizza but not mention him at all in your <blank> is town/scum list?
1. Can you explain why not Tak? How is he anything but null? I don't follow why you would include him in 'Do not lynch' when you've already stated that he's unreadable and you've never seen him seriously try to solve?
ETA
2. Why not Cuth?
3. Why not Lohr?
4. Why not Kenni?
5. Why not Murska?
@Cass:
1: I wanted to see how Pizza would respond to it.
2: I don't think so. I've played a handful of games outside GITP, so it might be we've met. I don't recall.
3: I've resolved to keep an eye out. Unreadable people are just people we can't read yet. I do expect his reactions to be related in some way to his alignment, but I do not know how.
My opinions on people's intros aren't in a formalizable stage. I've got vague feelings that I'll write about once I spot something sufficiently interesting that I'm willing to go over and check specific people more thoroughly. I voted for Cuth because I knew he had some votes on him already. The same was true with the Pizza vote - I went over the thread, checked people who had more than one vote on them, picked someone whom I could expect would reply to my prod to air their thoughts a bit and voted them.

They're his posts; also 1 relates to my reasoning with 3
It's the beginning of the game. He comes in, makes a vote without any reason. He puts in fluff text, but it's not really even a joke, just flavor. Then he goes after me for voting him very aggressively and says that he needs some "reason", even if it's a joke. Neither of which he really gave in the first place.
Lack of explanation is fine if it is a random vote, but gets worse the higher you are on a bandwagon.
