I see, thanks.
So when n0 peeks isn't a thing here, it's more of a level question, if scums would kill bsmith to make autolycus look bad, or because he was correct(but that just seems a bit silly, considering his vote didn't seem to be based on anything else than bsmith not saying anything, meaning bsmith could just simply say stuff, today, and at least that part wouldn't be a problem).
I think it's faily null, in regards of getting an idea of his alignment.
Probably more worth to look into how votes developed on the wagons, while of course also looking at Autolycus' posts(I recall he had almost none, anyway I'm reading thread now, so I'll find out)
I think BSmith was killed because he was being town-read, or because he was a low-poster, having been scum enough times to say that's usually the motive, looking for someone who won't be lynched or who might have a power and who isn't going to be the super obvious protection.
However, I feel it's much wiser to look at who people voted for than to look at who the murder was. It usually leads to more accurate conclusions that aren't as much of a wine in front of me situation.
The villagers will have been voting for people they genuinely believe should be voted for, which means most of the votes are honest.
The murder could be straightforward, random, or a pile of WIFOM and it's difficult to see a pattern from it. Like unless as I mentioned last phase a claimed cop never dies, even with a dead doctor-like role, there's little to be learned from the murder other than X was townie.
Sometimes it's because they were pointing at a scumbag, but usually the mafia doesn't immediately feel under so much pressure to murder them that next night, and usually they wouldn't consider a day one vote to be that much of a big deal to be afraid of, unless they were also accusing a mafia while voting for a townie. I could see that as a way of subtly removing a potential voter of a mafioso without it mostly ever leading to knowledge of who a scum might be.
However, if nearly getting a mafioso lynched, on a train that is almost completely just townies or perhaps completely just townies, it is probably wise to murder off random members of that wagon because they're all not about to be lynched anytime soon, after that person gets lynched.
So it could be either one. In any case I think given the way people were behaving yesterday, one of the four candidates was scum.
I don't think it was Lohrenswald because reasons. Could have been Jarrema if not Autolycus.
