NotW LVII - Tempus Fugit (game thread)

Well that escalated quickly. I'm guessing that was a one-shot ability and Lassie will die at the end of the day.

Update pending. Please do not post.

Jarrema:

Post 120. I appreciate the sentiment, but I can't say it leans either way.

Post 182 is something a very green scum would do. I don't know how experienced Jarrema is, but it's a scum leaning post anyway because it doesn't feel green nor experienced town.

The remainder of his posts are accepting to kill Auto to avoid death (instead of, say, trying to find another target) and hinting at his powers while clearing Kennigit, who nobody really suspects anyway. Ehh.

KingMorgan

Post 503. A bit of waffling in the reads, 'could be town or scum'. But at least they're reads. A scum having been away from the thread for a while might feel compelled to put out immediate content so as to not get targeted when they do return.

The rest of his posts contain nothing that I find useful in determining his alignment.

Snerk

His posts are entirely tunneling against Auto with intermittent self-defense until Auto flips, then he accuses the Auto wagon. Post 593 is very scummy.

There was a sudden chill in the Citadel’s great hall, where the Order had gathered for their daily deliberations, and even the magical lamps seemed to have dimmed in intensity. Then a ghostly presence took shape in the hall, that of an old woman with a pair of well-used shears. The spectre pointed a gnarled finger at Snerk and snapped her shears with dreadful finality.

With a voice as cold as the grave, she said, “thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting.”

The Great Hourglass, normally as constant as the Multiverse itself, inexplicably drained faster and faster and, as the last grains of sand dropped from the upper section, Snerk abruptly collapsed to the floor, as lifeless as stone.

Snerk has been lynched! The body will be available to be identified in the morning.

In the hush that followed, Newyn's room was searched. His personal effects showed that he was the Acolyte.

Spoiler loyalty :
He was a loyal member of the Order!

Sprig's body was moved to the mortuary. He was the Young Mage.

[/ghost] So Newyn's action triggered the day-end too, eh? Bleh.

Hmmm… so Snerk-kun wasn't scum. I'll give Al Sipsclar-san a pass on that for now…

That is so baka that I cannot not vote you, Kenning-me!

Well, time to make my move I guess.

Good luck guys if I'm wrong but at the end of the day, I can't make myself believe that Lassie's behaviour could change so drastically between two games as town.
Lassie, if you are town, make use of the precious few hours you have left before they come for you.

Lassie, I accuse you of been Varethite. Let us face the judgement of the Gods.

I assume this clears me.
Also, can we vote Jarrema now?
Vote Jarrema

It doesn't fully clear you, Newyn seemed to at least think that what he did would kill you regardless of your alignment. Sounds more like you have some sort of kill resistance than you have to be with the Order.

i am assuming newyn didn't end the day, because i assume arakhor would have said otherwise right when newyn died

honestly, if you are townie doing these incredibly scummy actions (end day in tight race between jarrema, stealing my ability [which returned for use tonight]) PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF THE ORDER COME OUT AND CLAIM

I really, really have to doubt a scum had a day-stopping ability and used it to specifically save a teammate (jarrema), who already openly made some incredibly suspect claim of bothering to investigate/track/something to me n2 when I am universally read as town

Like I assume the game isn't won just because there is a Jarrema/thief/day-ending team of varethites that we can now lynch straight in a line, but maybe that really is the case

i.e. I have to rreeeaalllyyy question that jarrema would come into the thread as a scum and state the incredibly pointlessly obvious ("kennigit is not a killer"), it's so unfathomably ambiguous and fruitless that I am lead to believe it is the sort of thing a townie would do

but we can clear this up so incredibly fast

The update has now arrived at NotW LVII. We apologise for the late running of the update service and any inconvenience this may cause you.

Yeah, we shouldn't automatically vote for Jarrema. Plus, the lack of a night kill is somewhat strange.
