In whom I trust
One frustration I found about the town was the fact that they hardly did any work and allowed those who were in charge to do the work and not think for themselves. For the most part there were bandwagons everywhere.
Teaming with Classical was good.
I was bitten by a Zombie, and we hoped that they would get in contact with us, but they never did, though I found out why soon after.
I'm not sure many people did think you were scum, it just happened to be two people who had guns and were able to kill you that did. However, at the time you were against it we DID need to lynch people - and so we got Autolycus, and if we'd done classical next as a bunch of us wanted and caught Visorslash soon after, yes, we then could have been in the clear. (Optimism that the scanners would catch the serial killer eventually, that would be easy, and then people would stop dying)
The short deadline screwed us over a bit, but eh.
Getting Bad Player killed was a masterstroke CH.
Then I discovered our VCs were impossible, just like in the other game I played in hosted by Takhisis.

Sorry to Mat as well, that was a brutal way to go, I even thought on the day it happened that the result would be no lynch. I didn't even particularly think you were scum, I thought johnhughthom was the last human scum/killer of Backwards Logic. I just had to vote somebody and then got lucy on the draw too.

Your goal is to escape the Authorities, this can be done either by surviving them and joining the Survivor rebels or else by getting yourself 'lynched' and escaping from any port facility. (that is, any shoreside location) Lynches in inland locations will result in a normal death.
Items: None. But you do have a lot of ability with weapons you could pick one up if the party went to the right place.
Every single dead player achieved a loss, correct? (Or were there a couple authorities or other non-Survivors who still accomplished some group goal?)
Yes the 'town' were the Authorities and the Company were their rivals, but not really werewolves the Zombies were a location-determined Cult; and the Farmers got eliminated too quickly, but they could've gotten a win with a single visit to City Hall.We vanillas had nothing there at all, and Takhisis wouldn't give us any VC information, except all vanilla survivors automatically losing if they died (the only thing Takhisis ever clarified) also was brutal.
Yes, sorry about that, I didn't realise I'd written '48 hours' and some people were asking for an extension (which I couldn't grant, I don't remember why, it was some RL stuff) so I kind of fooled myself into thinking we were all playing by 24 hoursAutolycus was inactive. Zack threw away important papers. I was planning on killing BL the night BSmith died, but the short deadline screwed us over. In that case, you, BSmith and BL would all be dead.
Your VCs weren't at all impossible, the only copy of the papers ever found were to be burned with some Fuel and the Radio Station's equipment destroyed. That'd basically shut off any chance of anyone finding the truth. It wasn't clear those were also my VC, you just said "these are mine" in the QT, so I skimmed over them and forgot about them. And it didn't help that you didn't ask for the papers and clarify why you needed them until after I gave them away.

So yes, I suppose I was a bad teammate. But at least I got the papers - they were voted to me, because I wasn't suspected by everyone like you were, classical_hero. Not to mention you weren't exactly the perfect teammate yourself. So don't blame all your troubles on me.
Also, guess what? We all make mistakes, and this is just a game. Learn from it and move on.![]()
It's OK, it happens. I had several three-day phases because of such things.Sorry I completely fell off the face of the planet. RL chewed me up and spit me out a couple times running.
I found it odd when the party just decided to camp the Radio Station, a one-off message and off you go to receive extra Supply Drops, if necessary just batten down hatches somewhere with Martial Law and manipulate the votes so no one gets killed and you can strat grilling people at night and letting the two detectives do their stuff.Definitely an unorthodox and frustrating game. Paranoia setups suck (no knock on Tak, I just hate them) because it's a game where everyone is chasing a phantom. I'll wait to comment further once Tak's game notes are posted, but I'll hit on the BP killing: Had BP not missed a scan that night, he never would have been killed (and Frozen probably sticks around too). The fact that he did, plus c_h's fake testimony, pretty much sealed his fate. I even asked in response to one of his PM's regarding classical how he missed the scan and got no response, so I assumed foul play. I couldn't call him on it behind the scenes (or publicly due to the TFA lynch) and risk him turning the vigs (which he knew the identities of) on me or anyone else. So yea, I had them killed, though I also sort of/knew Kennigit had super-scanning powers at the time so the loss wasn't going to be as bad.
He was Zombified at the end of Night Thirteen, he'd been infected on Night Twelve when you moved to the Coastguard from the Detective's Agency. He then attacked Earthling on Night Fourteen who was conveted on Night Sixteen. Both of them failed many other attacks.Backwards Logic said:Question for Tak: When was mayor converted? You should have started vigging away!Tak, was I ever going to get a special ability with that chainsaw?
