NOTW XXIV - The Age Of Despair (Bannor Thread)

Oh, hey, looks like I'd better write faster. I've been taking my time, and about half the PMs are written up. I'll finish them ASAP and then start sending them out. The game thread should go up soon after.

Anyway, on my end, Sepuku contacted me early claiming that he had a double win condition, but told the truth about his ability. I didn't buy the double win condition part, and when BananaLee slipped up and accidentally revealed himself as a demon, I didn't give any indication to Sepuku. ;) Even if not for that, though, I think the demons wouldn't have won. Paulus was going to scan BananaLee anyway. In fact, had BananaLee not slipped up, then he'd have just been lynched in the thread the next day, I would have survived to the night, used my kill ability on Sepuku and (assuming Paulus advised me to do so) Diamondeye, winning an even quicker victory. So, BananaLee, your slip up might have actually ended up making the demon team's loss less of a landslide. :p

The demons certainly would not have won, but try stopping the group of werewolves with 14 votes to back them up comming from the caravan? Not as easy...

 Chand, if i had gotten control of those wolves, you were gonna be my first target and BananaLee was second since he knew to much. Glad I wasn't trusting you ;)

Too bad chand was going to kill you before you ever got to the wolves then :p. And with real werewolves please use demons about demons and wolves about wolves.

That wasn't going to happen. The prophet(Seon) started knowing 2 innocents. Myself and Stuck in Pi. First night we scanned you. Then CCRunner, who guaranteed the dwarven vote. Then it was supposed to be Methos. So entering the next evening we had 9 votes(give or take) secured.

I would have contacted you except that you threatened to reveal the identity of the prophet. That and the impossible task of overturning the bandwagon that formed against you before I could do so led to your early demise.

Did all the Dwarves know that the son was a Werewolf? If so, why didn't you tell me CCRunner? I let you know that I could have wolves executed at night via one of the sister's abilities.

Edit: Although this is Caravan thread stuff. I may as well post it here.

 it was worth a try...

I must admit, you had pretty bad luck with trying. There were so many things not right with your offer - I already knew who the true prophet was, Chand had tipped me off that we likely would end up having to kill you, and the last time an ability needed someone to come with somebody else at night he was dragon bait.

The loophole was a far stretch as well. The GM would not have allowed that, so I didn't believe you.

Oh, and Chand... I almost doubted you because of this exchange of PM's with Thomas

I wish to check Chandrasekhar for unholy taint.

You perform your test while Chandrasekhar stands loosing arrow after arrow into the sky. as your goddess fills you, the Archer appears as a blazing form of white light. She is certainly not human. But not demonic at all.

Umm, was Chand not male?
And is he innocent or not?

Chand, despite what she appears, is most definently female. and she is NOT a Demon... but not human, either. the light you see is pure and divine.

When asking Chand himself he says he is male. Are you 100% sure of this?

DO NOT DOUBT THE GM.

I know what I sent you is right.

They had to agree to go off alone with me as stated in my ability so talk to Thomas lol
Or did ou mean the save somebody thing? I couldn't think of anything else for that so I went with it...

Boohoo! I get to be a wolf for the first time ever and the game doesn't complete.

The dwarves could win along with the wolves. Family first - as long as all dwarves lived, it didn't matter whether innocents or wolves won. So we were all in it together. Methos was the kill for the night Rhawn* was scanning him. We were then going to pick off the sisters once CCRunner had secured the identity of the killer, which was the only thing which could have taken us out (if a dwarf died, all bets were off). It would all have got a bit obvious at that point, but you wouldn't have had the votes to stop us. Looking at the descriptions, you didn't even have anyone immune to wolf attacks, which is what worried me. And it looks like by choosing Illian escape route, we were safe from external attack (complete luck).

*OK, it was Seon. You fooled us to thast extent

This will certainly increase paranoia even more in future - you can't even trust the "known innocents"...

I feel like I am running around in the dark so far. My lies wern't believed and I trusted the one person I should've...I think you gonna make me Parinoid as hell as well as come up with stories as soon as the game starts that fit any situation Chand ;)
Then I just gotta feed them out and keep myself competely masked

Wow. Just wow. That's something I hadn't considered at all. I guess we were doomed. We couldn't even trust our scan. CCRunner(an "innocent") colluding with you to kill Methos along with the day one blunder/bandwagon, every scan was wasted.

I"m wonder who wins in a str3 vs str3 fight. Does the tie go to the attacker or is it a coin toss?

Oh sh!t! So all the Dwarves were wolf friendly?. Was that even supposed to happen? I only hope that we would have one thread when this game restarts... it will be better for logistics

That is what i said? And you can still be killed even if you have greater strength, strength only matters for endgame, and pretty sure mergle had both my sword and morgan's hammer...

Had the wolves attacked ozbenno they would have been under ozbenno's control. To test ozbenno's ability, I let him try and tame me on the first night (which is also gave him proof I was an innocent). In order to keep our plans from the GM (thomas), we didn't tell thomas what we were doing. Our reasoning was we wanted to know what would happen if ozbenno tried to tame someone who was an innocent that we thought was a wolf. I didn't trust rhawn, who I believed (and didn't believe) was the prophet, so I never told rhawn or ccrunner about ozbenno. Looks like that was a wise choice. I still wonder why KM told both Ozbenno and myself that we had been scanned (or that he'd heard) we'd been scanned by a prophet. That was my main reasoning on why I was suspicious of KM.
