NOTW XXIV - The Age of Despair (Caravan Thread)

My apologies.

I hadn't reallized it was tuesday. I have AP review in a few mins... Stories are half done, so they'll be up later.

OOC: So I die for trying to get to the Warcamp?

I am always Directs: was trying to hand a weapon to a captain that will, say, decharge when handled by others. To late.

I want Night orders. I am not at my computer, but I'll compensate by fiting both night and day in this update.

I'm sorry

Do we find out if Charli was innocent any time soon? That could influence some night actions and stuff. And do I get to know anything about my new sword?

Edit: Thomas has been suitably harrased using the new visitor message system :D

I have some bad news, followed by some Good news.

I am finding it hard, insanely hard, to be at my computer to write up the update. (for example, now i'm at the ambulance building.)
However, Renata has Kindly agreed to take on some of the load. (Yay for Renata)

Sorry for all of you who thought this was the update :p

I'm going to help with write-ups, and if thomas and I can get our ducks in a row by then, you'll have the update by sometime Monday. I don't expect to be able to keep up with the high level of FfH knowledge, so I hope you can all live with that.

(thomas, you still have my email, right? I'll need all the PMs re-sent if you can, but, you know, all the rest of it. :p )

I should still have your email. :p

I'll compile everything for you this weekend.

I'm sorry to report I haven't received anything from thomas yet.

Thomas, I can't help you if I don't get some minimal assistance, sorry. :(

Let Chand do his. I'll start this again, when I have the time to commit to it really... (and to be honest, my lack of time is not something I could have predicted)

Que Lastima! What a shame

Spoiler :
Yes.

Bannor Squad:

The Fall of Kwythellar was disastrous. All the survivors knew it. Around them, the ground darkened and the vegetation turned to ash and dust. From the burning ruins of the city, fell cries hounded the regiment, forcing it out into the open.

Fearing an attack, the Bannor bared their weapons, but all was silent. Moving back fearfully, the regiment formed up, making ranks around those members needing protections.

The surviving clerics silently prayed, their faith shaken. They prayed for safety and protection and healing…

As they left the outskirts of the city, the Regiment settled, making its camp in a hidden hallow.

They knew they had to decide where to go, where to escape…

Caravan:

The Caravan of refugees from the greatest of all Kuriotate cities ran (at least as fast as a caravan of random, disaparate members can run) from the Shiem forces. All were convinced that the evacuation was temporary, that the Bannor would push back the invasion, and that they could return to their easy, simple lives of municipal politics.

To wait out the attack, they settled in a small copse of wood, lighting fires, preparing food and settling into the bourgeois comfort they expected. Their small fires kept at bay the growing fog, and the chanting coming from the city had a soothing tone to it.

Then, shocking even the most complacent out of their reverie, from the city came a deep rumbling, shaking the refugee’s bones in their sockets. From the city came a chorus of howls and moans, coursing through the air.

One of the centaur guards galloped to the top of the ridge, and turned pale. He turned back towards the other refugees. “gather what you can in your wagons! The forces of hell are Upon us. Woe! It is our Doom!”

Dwarven Merchant Clan
Under Kilmorph, Family solidarity is the most important thing, after hard work. Everything within the family is shared, to the benefit of the rest of the family. But should one turn from the family’s well being, then, nothing would protect them from the wrath of the affronted dwarves. That being said, does the disease afflicting the youngest in the family really matter, on the whole? As long as the family is safe, such foibles are not important.

Sisters of Sirona – the circle
Your Chapter knew of the fall before hand, and you three were chosen, as the greatest of the Sisters of Sirona of Kwythellar, to accompany this caravan, which was Scryed to have the greatest chance of Survival, as it’s greatest plague will not be an infernal one but an Animal one, a bestial infection.

And then the dreams started: dreams of a frozen wasteland of joy, ruled benevolently by your lord, Mulcarn.

Your title is lion tamer, but that means nothing… you can tame much, much more than Lions. Excape Goal: None

Spoiler :
Kuriotates Civilians
1) Street Sweeper – Charles Li

Spoiler :
Special Guest: Love

Dreamer of the Deep
Male (human, maybe? Maybe elf? Your not quite sure anymore)
Strength: 1
Your not too sure who you are anymore. The first clear memory you have is of fire burning through a wall of water, of your lungs drying out. Then darkness again. When you awoke for the second time, everything was much clearer. You were lying in the burned out husk of what appeared to have once been a grand building, with a rather organic shape. You lay in a pool of evaporating water. As you got up, you saw that your arms and body were tattooed with a pattern of coiling tentacles, climbing up you limbs to the base of your shaven head.
As you climbed out, you heard a chorus of voices calling you, telling you to lie back down. As you prepared to obey, a sharp voice cut harshly through them, calling them to silence. Then it spoke to you, calmly, lovingly, almost.
“Go, Son, Go… travel out of the city. You will be protected. Find the survivors, and join yourself to them.”
Ability: you may read both threads. (overlords sending you dreams.) After you join them, you will be able to read all PMs sent by any two players per night to the GM (me!)
Escape goal: Find one of the two groups (actually… they will be joined at that point, so… (secret, that, don’t tell anyone))
