Diamondeye is not lying about any of that. I really did threaten him. What he doesn't mention is that he told me the things I'd asked for and, frankly, I'm unconvinced by what he said.

He says he doesn't care whether I'm acting out of an innocent motivation. Well, I do care what his motivation is - because I'm actually trying to catch the killers, not just save my own hide.

As to why he's come forward with this... Maybe he thinks I'm bluffing. Or maybe he thinks I wouldn't have the nerve to do it after he'd spoken up. Either way, he's wrong.

You're all going to have to weigh it up, and decide who should be lynched this evening. But ask yourselves this - given how swiftly the innocent bodies are dropping, would a wolf really step up and expose himself the way I did by threatening Diamondeye? Would a wolf take that kind of risk just to see how someone responded to being threatened?

As you may... may have noticed, Nikki was one of those people. I want to keep everyone safe. I failed Kwythellar, but I'm not going to fail you if you hang Winston and let me live. The swordsman shakes his head and sits down. "If anyone needs more than that, speak up."

Adept Pauline speaks up again, a worried look on her face.

"So far, some of our number have been... less vocal than others have been. In fact, some of us have only done their say on things once, and that was to support making a decision I fear that might have led us astray. I have already shared my thoughts about what caused the devastation this night with some of you, and you know what makes them suspicious.

Private Ronin, it is time for you to speak up. You have already seen accusations on previous occasions yet failed to explain yourself. It is time to come up with a proper explanation."

"PaulusIII is right. Ronin needs to speak up now. Winston, take this as a final sign of trust. I won't hold any grudges against you if you take back your threats now and wait with your bloodspilling until you have actual evidence."

I am finding it hard, insanely hard, to be at my computer to write up the update. (for example, now i'm at the ambulance building.)
However, Renata has Kindly agreed to take on some of the load. (Yay for Renata)
