NotW XXVI: Children of Kylorin (Game Thread)

The Dwarf was shaking visibly; he had been standing just behind the soldier. If he had not been quicker, he might have shared the soldier’s fate. The Dwarf slowly re-gathered himself after the horror of the giant fireball and the snapping of the tree. The Farmers Daughters news did nothing to lighten his mood.
We have lost two innocents people tonight; we must stop this from happening again. Methos, did you witness the attack on your father? Have you any clues to identify his attacker?

The Dwarf surveys the crowd and notices the Orphan Nictel still wide-eyed in horror. He is in need of something to distract him from this the dwarf thinks 'Perhaps the gold would help.'

C-C-C-C-Can I h-h-ave the-the-the g-g-g-gold p-p-please.. I w-w-w-ant it f-f-f-f-for b-b-b-b-b-fun.

The farmers daughters looks at Ekolite with utter rage. "The werewolf is Ekolite and he killed my father!" Both the emotion of the loss of her father and seeing his murderer before her could be seen dancing across her face as was the fact that she was ready to kill the werewolf at this very moment.

The merchant is shocked beyond words.

Then let Ekolite Die.

Pretty strong attack on Ekolite there, young one. Did you have any proof besides the fact that you "saw him" attack? Because if so it could help your case against him greatly.

The orphan is so scared he can't even cry, he liked the farmer. He sometimes would get some unsold food at the end of the day. Moreover he had developed somewhat of a crush on the farmer's daughter. But the priest had always been kind to him, he felt very confused. Moreover he was afraid to act while the silent student was staring at him.

(OOC: Methos are you 100% positive it was Ekolite who you saw? Also iamwlrs4 has been online, he should speak up.)

(OOC: Everything in this game is suspicious, including silence.)

(OOC: My schedule's been busy, so I haven't had very much time to talk. Just enough time to check in on this thread and the Mafia game. This is the first day in a while that I've actually had, well, time.)

"Priest Ekolite is a wolf? Then be done with him!"

I'd like the gold. As a servant of Sucellus, I naturally don't have that much money and don't need that much either, but there are expenses that I'd like to cover. Sometimes you get some pennypinching merchants that make you pay through your nose for some simple healing herbs...

The healer smiles at the merchants. "No offense to you, of course."

The Champion looks inexpressably smug.

So I was right about Ekolite, then? I do believe I'm owed a few apologies, yes I do. But I'll settle for the gold, of course.

Sigh. Kingmorgan can have the gold. I guess. Everyone needs money, I guess.

Ekolite is an wolf? Methos, could you tell us all more about this? (OOC: Angry that no one ever talks to me about this sort of business )

The shock and horror of recent events seems to have dislodged certain perceptions the merchant had about capitalism

Let the poor not go hungry! Let food go out to the masses!

Let the Old Veteran have the gold.

The old miner sitting patiently listening to all the accusations against the Priest. He is pleased that he called out for the Farmer’s Daughter to speak her piece and now thinks perhaps he should call out the Priest to beg for mercy and apologise for his crimes or at the very least explain himself.

The Dwarfs voice rang out, deep and loud
“Ekolite, Come forth you have some explaining to do”

ah knowed Kol was too "holier than thou" by far. nevah a-comin' into mah inn, nevah partakin' in enny festivities. eff'n he's also a wo'f, then, ah's all fo' gittin' rid of him, dawgone it. permanently laike.

Upon seeing the mob gather around the priest Ekolite and seeing the anger against him intensify, the Officer comes forth to restore at least a tiny bit of order

This is quite a serious charge Ekolite. The late farmer's daughter has placed you at the scene of the crime. Please tell me, what were you doing last night at the time of the murder?

He surveys the scene once more. It comes to his attention a weapon was found as well, though at another crime scene

With the presence of a dagger at the other crime scene, I feel it is my duty to ask for the dagger for myself. Seeing as ZPV had his throat slashed, I believe I should take possession of this item to investigate if this is in fact the murder weapon used in the slaying of ZPV. While it is apparent ZPV is guilty of... something, I must determine any sort of connection between this dagger and his murder.
