NOTW XXXIX: Impending Retribution Game Thread

So, Duke Blackstone, do you want me to train you or not?

btw PaulusIII is beginning to hit the scumdar with those short bandwaggonny texts of his.

Train me. And PaulusIII is next.

Ok, I'll train you. I'll write you on that tomorrow.

PaulusIII could be today you know. He's a far better choice than Izipo. It's still a poor move to execute robbiecon at this point and if people don't agree on Methos at least we have a shot of getting a saboteur with Paulus.

And Takhisis, you should take robbiecon off the ship tonight. Failing that (if the bandwagon to execute him succeeds) take someone else off. I'd think training Duke Blackstone has to wait another night.

Wait, is robbiecon a confirmed scum or not?
I'll say this loud and clear for the umpteenth time: I CAN'T FERRY PEOPLE OFF THE SHIP AGAINST THEIR WILL. PERIOD.

Seriously, I have a chopper, not a cargo crane.

Yes, but everyone mentioned this time probably would agree to go.

If Seon is still willing take him tonight, or actually Methos would be candidate number one but I don't possibly see Methos agreeing to leave. If Seon or a similar suspect is Innocent at the very least they get to survive and we get rid of a possible suspect without wasting other abilities so again, I'd rather we at least try somebody. Again, probably a bit better than training someone to leave just a couple nights down the line for a personal goal, we still have a shot at things now and keeping people accounted for is a good idea.

So I guess it's not worth it to fight robbiecon's lynch anymore, he has enough votes already to go and we might as well see what happens. We got the Navigation Card back regardless and can use it tonight.

But really - if he's not a saboteur, everybody had better be ready to regroup tomorrow and listen to real, proven Innocents. I vote CCRunner on principle.

Why can't Izipo be a saboteur?

Because he's been repairing the ship since day one...

I wish I had more time to cross check everything that's been said the last couple of days, but it's getting much harder for me now that Renata is dead.

Methos' explanation about his role on this ship is in line with what I thought of him. If we had more active players, he would have died a couple of days ago (I'm specifically thinking about Niklas, who had the ability to vig-kill). I'm guessing he wouldn't have needed a lot of convincing to use his ability on that particular individual (for old times' sake ;)).
But that's just speculation.
As it is now, I think that he'll avoid being lynched, so that calls for a change of plan : Methos.
But who else ? CCRunner, is always a good candidate. He claims he did repairs in the pump room, and it's probably true, but at best he accounts for 2 points, so it's probably an item plus rank ability. Which means he can be replaced.

Also,
Duke Blackstone should have the air rig.
Earthling can have both launch keys.
and I (Izipo) will accept the swiss knife and rifle.

Not that it matters all that much now, as it seems my fate has been sealed by the return of the dead (the inactives that is). I will remove my vote from Methos and place it instead upon CCRunner.

The truth will set you free.

Let's not give BSmith the air rig, Duke Blackstone is actually a good idea. BSmith should take the CIC key actually, and if something goes wrong we could encourage him to go check for traps.

I will take the armory key.

Duke for the air rig.

Izipo for the swiss army knife.

The keys. I don't know, wish we could throw them overboard. Earthling I guess.

Duke Blackstone can have the air rig.

Paulus III can have the armory key.

Earthling can have both launch keys.

Rhawn can have the armory key.
Duke Blackstone can also have the air rig.
Earthling can have the keys
I’ll take the CIC Key. I don’t mind playing the fool foil.

I think Robbiecon and Methos are both bad ideas for the brig or execution. Lacking another suspect, I guess we should aim for CCRunner.

Assault Rifle to BSmith.
Key to the Armory to Rhawn.
Nuclear Launch Key “B” to Earthling.
Key to the CIC to Earthling.
Portable Compressed Air Rig to Duke Blackstone.
Thunderfall Missile Launch Codes to Earthling.
Swiss Army Knife to Frozen in Ice.

I still consider robbiecon as our best shot to take down the man who turned the ship around.

While Earthling was right about access to the Bridge being unrestricted on the night the ship was turned around, that wasn't the first night the ship's locks were down. On that night, nothing happened to the ship's course. So why didn't it happen the first night?

Chances are it's because the Navigation Override was still in innocent hands.

Also I'm happy with passing the both the Nuclear Launch Key and Missile Launch Codes to Duke Blackstone.

rhawn for armory key.
Earthling gets the nuclear launch key and missile codes.
Paulus III can have the armory key.
 Seriously? We point him out as lurktastic scum and you just vote to give him the armory key? :nono:

OMGlet's-save-myself vote, ain't it?
