We don't have to follow the OTL. Since Britain didn't pwn so much back then either. The althistory is whack already, so just play along. Oil in Persia makes less sense than that.

Then we are about 10 years behind on oil in Arabia, then Persia is still Britains leading Oil export industry.

Unless like the UCSA I send geologists over to find the oil then send contractors to build the wells and bring in oil.... free.

OOC: When I saw that map, I though that Arabia was being ceded too, then I saw that, that was Arabia's color already, so I am urging them on the fact that they are only ceding the northernmost part of their lands.
