Nuke Nes: After Victoria

@dldnjstr I was hoping the story would make this more IC

@mrpwn3r
I was hoping to keep this an open and public bidding. But I will not disclose the details to your bid other then to say you are currently in the lead for a bid on all ships.

If I don't know what his bid is then how am I supposed to outbid him? Trial and error? You should make this auction public.

I am off to bed so to keep things moving. All future bids must be made publicly. The Lowlands have offered.

30 IC paid over two turns. Plus techs.

To Japan
From Great Britain

We will buy all 4 of your battleships for 15 IC.

Fine. The Lowlands will bid 45 IC, all of the techs that were offered, plus the intangibles as well for the entire thing.

Actually, this auction thing seems like its going off to wrong direction. So, UCSA urges Japan to stop the auction, all other nations to withdraw their bids, and dismantle the ships and invest it to private companies within Japan to rebuild its economy. (Sell it at half price to Nuke instead of other players.) And in the future, there should be no more auctioning of the military.

How is this going the wrong direction, this is what a bid does. Although the techs were a little odd, but ultimatley the Japanese put forth the rules, and if they accept techs then techs are allowed.

If the lowlands want to pay two times as much as it would cost to build them in their own docks, and bankrupting themselves in the process by all means let them, it means we get a weaker enemy. :p (I only said that as a joke, and a reminder that if you spend too much you may end up bankrupt.)

OOC: Why? I don't see anything wrong with this bid. If a nation wants to sell its navy, then let them sell it.

And its not two times the cost.

4 Battleships
15 Heavy Cruisers
30 Light Cruisers
15 Submarines

4x5 = 20
15x3=45
30x2=60
15x1=15

105+35=140

It's definitely worth more than 45 IC. (Ah my bad Germanicus, I didn't read what you wrote. :p)

Also Nuke, since the lowlands are growing a huge navy, if the succeed in in purchasing such ships from the Japanese, how can they support such a navy and military?

Their country is small, not many ports for their ships to dock in, and how is their economy supporting this?

I think you should add a military cap, so no nation grows beyond their means.

I simply meant when you continue betting, if you are as aggressive as I think you are, you will end up paying more than you can owe, but like I said, the Japanese will look into it and decide for themselves.

I'm sorry for double posting, but you forget we own Indonesia and Arabia too, as well as Belgium and the Netherlands.
