MRPWN3R is right being neutral doesn't mean you are leaving the Alliance. Though in some cases they might kick you out. I don't think this will be one of them. Neutral just means you aren't taking a side. I believe NATO has set out a few wars the US as been in an vice versa.

Please note that we are not asking you to assist us in the war, Great Britain is perfectly capable of handling this. If you want to fight, then we will not stop you, if you do not want to, that is your choice and you are free to stay out of it.

EDIT: Russia is not involved in the war with France. They are taking care of China.... Sorry. But nonetheless we still do not require any assistance unless they volunteer.
