Non Military Events

Manila becomes wealthy

If you go to Manila, you will hear about 10 different languages. The sound of French, Siamese, Vietnamese, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, English, Dutch, and Spanish, as well as the native Pilipino dialect, all blending together. Many traders at least know 5 languages if they are to make big business. Ever since the US Government opened Manila to all trade, the city has become fantastically wealthy. Traders can get silk and silver from China, perfume from Japan, India, and France, Gold from America and Australia, plus ivory from Vietnam, all for a very cheap price. American traders take this to San Francisco, which makes it in turn, another very wealthy City.

Military Events

Chinese Civil War

End of Chinese Civil War

The Nationalist Army, under Geshu Song, has surrendered to the Asiatic Sphere. In May, the Communists, with Japan and Vietnam, subdued all of China, and advanced upon Peking. For 6 months, the Nationalists held the line, with Tanks, heavy artillery, and machine guns, but a force of up to 100,000 Asiatic soldiers made them surrender. The remaining people loyal to the Nationalists fled under Lon Feigh to Karokurum, declaring it the Free Republic of Greater Mongolia. The Communist Government has no comment on that, as the Mongols have made peace.

Japanese leave Beijing

Japan has peacefully withdrawn from the Beijing area with no quarrel. This has come to the relief of all the world. It also sets the stage for a unified China, under one political Party

Iran invades Iraq

The Iran-Iraq war was declared on July 5th, and a massive Shiite Army headed toward Iraq. The hapless Iraqis fell to the Iranian Poison Gas, proving its usefulNESs to war. Then, Israel Declared War on Syria, and by the end of October, there was no Sunni left in the Middle East, as the Theocratic Republic of Iran was declared, and has killed any non Shiite in the area they control.

(-5,000 Iranian Infantry, -2,500 Israeli Infantry, -Syria, Iraq as an Independent nation)

Turk-Greek War

The largest invasion ever of Greece happened, as General Osman has captured Athens. The Greeks tried to land on Turkey’s southern coast, and was crished. Then, the Turk Navy sailed and captured Greece’s islands. Finally, enslaved turks turned over Crete, and Annexation has occured.

(-15,000 Turk soldiers, -40,000 Greek soldiers, -Greece as an independent nation)

Gueina rebels

After many years of brutal White explotation under "Democracy" locals have risen up, and teamed with USR soldiers, killed every white man they could find. Fidencio Castillo has made Gueina an USR republic now.

(-5,000 Gueinan soldiers, -Gueina as an independent nation)

The Great War

Fall of Rome

General Von Berig got word from the Kaiser: Stop the French in Italy, and kill DeGaule. Von Berig left command of the siege of Paris to a young Captian named Adolph Hitler, and set off to Rome. There, DeGaule and Von Berig met with 50,000 Soldiers Each. The battle lasted for 20 minutes. It wasn’t the Usual Trench warfare, as neither had many machine guns. The Germans made a fatal mistake to lose though. The French Left Wing was weakening, so Von Berig ordered a full assult on the French Wing, and wound up being encircled. Him and about 500 men retreated to the Germanic Axis Command post in Venice, while the rest were forced to surrender, and were marched to a prison camp somewhere in Africa

(-49,500 German Infantry, -30,000 French Infantry)

Italy Annexed

General DeGaule, after his heroic victory at Rome, has made huge progress, and has annexed Italy for the good of France. Italy’s other European territories have been made into two countries: Albania, and Yugoslavia, both joining the French Alliance. Albania has been set aside for people from all of Earth, and Refuges, and Yugoslavia has created a strong, united Slavic nation.

(-Italy as an Independent Nation, +Albania, Yugoslavia, as Independent nations, see spotlight)

DeGaule’s March on Paris ends at the Alps

DeGaule, who won a series of victories in Italy, has been stopped at the Alps by Von Berig and his Free Italian reinforcements. DeGaule made numerous assaults, but by November, it was clear: The Southern Front would be won just like the West: Trench Warfare

(-5,000 French Infantry, -2,000 German Infantry)

Britain enters the war

On September 4th, Great Britain entered the war….on Germany’s side! The British made a landing, and liberated the Duchy of Normandy under a Fascist puppet government. The British made humongous gains upon French Africa, and some military leaders are calling for an offensive into Italy. Nevertheless, Britain has made a large impact upon the war, and it may emerge stronger than ever.

(-40,000 British Infantry, -50,000 French Militia)

Spotlight: Rebellion in Austria Hungry

Austria Hungry is a mixture of all cultures. While Austrians, Hungarians, and Germans enjoy huge privileges in the empire, Jews, Poles, Turks, and Slavs, all suffer in labor camps. That is why 3 revolutions broke out.

In Romania, tired Poles, who had been relocated, rose up against their masters, and killed them. The leaders then fought 3 Austrian armies, and crushed them. The Emperor Franz V had bigger problems though.

In Yugoslavia the French made a large assault upon Austria’s and Italy’s South European holdings. The Slavs helped the French in exchange for independence. The French agreed, and they formed a independent Yugoslavian nation as a refuge for Slavs from all over the world.

The last new nation to be formed was Albania. While it didn’t have to fight, it has become a large scale nation, with the highest population of all the three new nations

(+Albania, Yugoslavia, Romania, as independent nations)

The US is upset at Great Britain for joining the war on Germany's side.

The US is seriously considering joining the European war to restabilize things and bring peace back to Europe. But we are not declaring war just yet.

We thank Japan for honoring their agreement to leave Beijing and allow China to unify under a single ruler, even if it is a communist one.

Wouldn't this make the eco-centers on the Arabian peninsula useless, as the entire peninsula now has 0 population?

The other thing - on the map Austria seems to lack a capital. (Actually Vienna is there but not marked as capital.)
To do capitals, you select middle size round brush with white, place it, and then small square brush with black, put in the middle.

From Communist China
To World

China is now under the unified rule of the Will of The People Party. The people are overjoyed to have a government that is responsive to their needs and will make usre that the capitalists will not abuse them any longer. China will be closing its borders with the exception of to Asiatic Sphere members and diplomatic parties for the time being while we rebuild our nation and make it into the country of the future. President Sun Yu would like to extend his thanks to his Asian allies that allowed this unification to take place.

To Japan
Thank you for upholding our agreement to leave Beijing peacefully, we hope for much continued success in the future amoung our allies.

To Free Republic of Greater Mongolia
Do not attempt to interfere with the progress of China in any internal, external, or political fashion. You are no longer Chinese you are Mongolian stay out of China. This is your only warning.

Comrade Nuke, I got you my version of your map, some borders are slightly altered, I've improved Capitals and Eco Centers, I've even added the Suez and Panama Canal. Hows it look, I made it from scratch:

Nice. I like the star-like eco-centers better than the black spots.

With a quick glance I spotted these:

1- Turkey took Greece this turn
2- Muscat, Cairo and Damascus are missing (but I'm not sure if Muscat even exists anymore, due to Iran wiping out all sunnis they captured). Cairo's invisibility might be my fault, when placing the cities, I might have put a few of them attached to the rivers, also valid for Russian cities.

I ddi make some mistakes, also, the reason I made Greece and Turkey seperate was because I was looking over stats and such and even the update, it didn't have (- Greece as Independant State) and in the main stats it still had Greece (Though, Nuke may not have updated that tet) As for City placement, I did my best based off the older maps.

I think my best accomplishment was adding the Panama and Suez Canal. they're so important afterall. I think they are in this timeline.

I'll also go add Cairo

Hey nuke when did history start to change.

No worries man, I'm not criticising...just contributing. :)
Actually, looking back at the original city placement, I should have included Aleppo instead of Muscat.

I think my best accomplishment was adding the Panama and Suez Canal. they're so important afterall. I think they are in this timeline.

Panama canal was completed in 1914 IRL - but I'm not sure if it is here, as this timeline deviated from reality in 18th century if I remember correctly - and the idea of Panama canal has been around for a long time...
So @Nuke: Do we have a Panama Canal?
