Objects

I'm interested in the objects in your brains. If you don't have any brains then please don't reply.

Please consider your mind. You can use any definition of mind; physiological, phenomenological, philosophical... all that matters is this: What colour is your mind?

Black/white.

My hypothesis is that your answer will be determined by your cultured views. To help determine if I'm right, could you please also tell me how many times per week you play a video game, and how many times per week you go to the movies.

Video games: generally every day. I torrent movies.

Lastly, think of a shape that you consider to be an object. What is that shape? Please answer honestly giving the first shape that came into your head. Please describe a shape rather than a thing.

Beige. A heart.

Colour: Purple
Shape: Rectangle (2D, not 3D)
Movies: Never
Games: Never, unless you count breakout on my mobile phone, in which case, every day for 15 minutes on the tube. I don't count it as a computer game though...

I just realized I forgot to mention shape. I don't know how to describe it. It's shaped... like a typical brain, like the ones you see in a biology lab.

Colour is not a property a mind possesses.
My hypothesis is that your answer will be determined by your cultured views. To help determine if I'm right, could you please also tell me how many times per week you play a video game, and how many times per week you go to the movies.
Video games: almost every day. Movies: occasionally, as in a few times per year.
Lastly, think of a shape that you consider to be an object. What is that shape? Please answer honestly giving the first shape that came into your head. Please describe a shape rather than a thing.
Initially I was thinking of a cube, but that was just a shape, not an object. The first object I thought of was the Earth - a sphere (nearly).

Colour - Indigo / Dark Mauve (is that how you call it ? :crazyeye:)
Movies - once or twice a year
Video Games - once or twice per week for 2-3 hours each
Shape - A sphere

Color - Pinkish Grey.
Movies - 6-10 times a year.
Video Games - five or six times per week for 1 hour each.
Shape - Irregular sphere

Color: None
Movies: one every few weeks
Videogames: At least a little on most days
Shape: The first thing I thought of was a square.

white with hints of everything
4x videogames
0x movies
star(s)

My mind color: white, with splotches of an assorted palette of colors all over.
Video Game: 7 days a week.
Movies: 0 days a week.
Object: Square

Mind colour: sky blue
Shape : circle
Game : 2 hours a day, everyday. Including modding or similar "not really gaming" activities. Now, if you want how many times a week, as I don't play in just one time period everyday, but several small games, I think the answer would be, perhaps 15.
Movie : every 2 months, so that's 0.1148 times / week.

Am I the only one who thinks that actually he's more interested in how many people will answer a load of very silly questions in order to be helpful than in our minds and what information the answers give about them?

I certainly get that impression, but I'm bored.

Colour: Black, with a faint red tint (i.e. what I can see when I close my eyes). Basically stupid question though unless you accept colourless as an answer
Shape: A sphere
Games: Most days
Movies: Rarely, maybe every couple of months

Color: Gray

Video Games: I don't watch or use the TV in the house, but I play PC games daily.

Movies: Less than monthly.

Shape: Triangle.

Nah, I agree, except I don't think we're doing it to be helpful, I think we're doing it because we like to hear ourselves talk. Or see ourselves post, as it were. PC+1 kind of thing I guess.

Having just now seen the edit for the ambiguous question:

Shape: rhombus

Am I the only one who thinks that actually he's more interested in how many people will answer a load of very silly questions in order to be helpful than in our minds and what information the answers give about them?

If this is the case then his sampling method is deeply flawed. This is the Internet. None of us have anything better to be doing.

Well I hope he answers because I wasn't kidding about that water sprinkler thing and I'm a bit concerned that that says about me.

Lucy is correct.

Even if that is the case, it would still be a psychological (sociological?) experiment.
