Your planting of 2(!) cities on the island that Sit Bull of the Greeks & i are to share = a city or 2 too far. My Mali advance scouting chariot has taken your island city with only a single axe in it = too good an opportunity to pass up.

You are simply running away with this world dominion. Geez, let's face it U are already researching Military Tradition(!) & will get to Liberalism before any of us & leap in even further into the tech lead.
Much of this of course being accomplished by barely defending your too-expanding empire.

My goals are limited to that island. So perhaps we can talk about ceding the other to us Mali?
If not, we will start our Golden Age next turn & start cranking out a fine military machine which will include a few surprises. Your choice.

I suggest that several of you leaders surrounding Civ #1 consider military action while his cities are barely defended & before he becomes SO powerful & far ahead that YOU WILL be his 1st victims.

You amuse me Lord Kenwyn. You talk as if I have plans of attacking and conquering everyone around me like some sort of evil ruler bent on world domination. You act like it is me who cannot be trusted, yet you attack me without any warning or attempt at democracy to find a solution or even to ask if we may divide the island evenly, an option I would have considered. Also how bold of you to attack me and make threats while behind sitting bull's walls. Lastly you have informed everyone that I must be taken out as I am a threat; however you are not so far behind me in technology nor are you a small country. Is your plan to grow while everyone beats me down, so you may take the lead? Interesting plan I suppose. You did decide to attack me at an bad time though, as I had just started my golden age last turn.

If you truly wish for peace, I will lend an open ear to hear what it is that you need to say.

Great Osbi; We too are interested in Peace in the long run + have a Golden Age in ready in the wings (SOP for my civs).
Now that we have your attention, we can discuss options. Unfortunately(?) the share/granting of techs is not an option within the confines of this world.

Geez, talk about CLOSE combat. Chariot attacked axe with 34% win possibility+18% retreat.
Won... barely... survival strength = "0"!? Never had that happen before!

Net result, Lord Osbi of Vikes, is that your island over-expansion is near it's end... unless we can come to a realistic settlement.

As thou wilst see; we too have geared up for war, but we both have better things to do with our time & resources. What say thee, current leader of the pack?

Let's see what this turn reveals.

I believe U would not be agreeable to our current solution(s).
Altho, perhaps it is best to give away a little, far-away town rather than have it + gold taken from your treasury(!).
You will see we both have an empty city before us. However, i believe if U take back your lost city; it will be left in ruins.
Meanwhile, your empty size 2 town probably can't whip out a unit this turn = our chariot walks rite in.

Perhaps U can figure/offer a way to let cities live for future__________?
