I played the move, but tracker won't let me send it on to Echtelion. Sent via email

Ecthelion changed his in game name from Osbiath, but I hadn't noticed.
Just fixed this, so it should be ok next time round.

The Grecian war goes well... even when it is not my turn(!). :smug:
Sit Bull, being the AI that he is, charged 3 nice units to their death against my units digging in on a forested hill. I've laid another trap for some more of his mounted units when, predictably, they go for a worker next to my "empty" city. Magnificent Mali will soon have another GG just from his stupidity. ;)

Our peoples & the fine Viking citizens' seemingly wise new leader will soon consumate island-sharing arrangement our forefathers laid out. :high5:
We look forward to the centuries of Peace our ancestors envisioned. :scan:

Meanwhile, despite a loss to a very lucky barb galley, our fine fleet of fast vessels continue to map out this rather interesting planet we are all on. :goodjob:
This is all we can release (unless generous offers are forthcoming come from thee); cumulative news from our brave captains & explorers = Fortunate be the civ(s) that can first ferry settlers & workers to a wealth of fine islands!

Sorry about this; but cannot continue with my turn until... the heir to the Vikings & i finalize the agreement made with his forefather. :w00t:

We are pleased to see & his strong Vikes have joined the crusade against the Greeks.
The spoils should be more than enuf to go around for all involved.

:king: Ecthe pls contact me via other means as to why settler rather than city was returned to us?
Or as i hope, it was just a glitch in the diplo mechanism, since a diplo screen popped up from U upon opening the file... but it had/said nothing.

We await your reply. KW of Mali

Hel-l-lo-o-o, i am waiting for your response Mr.Viking.
Do U understand i am not moving Mali until U & i get this settled? :undecide:

Sorry other Leaders in this world. This = a very serious strategic matter that had been worked out & moved up by me. Done my part. Delivered as agreed. Was not consummated by Viking last turn,
I hope it was just a(nother) diplo screen miscue.
I must agree with others about less-than-useable Diplo interface in this otherwise fine program. :crazyeye:

Visiting the thread after some absence... and already contacted by Kenwyn by email.

The Vikings will honour past agreements with Mali's Leader.

Most honorable & rightous, Wise Heir to the Viking Empire.

Watch out Sit Bull & your Greeks! Prepare to be shrunk significantly in size & power.* :hammer:

:king: KW of Mali

*he continues to help in his own dimsie (as AI's often do); this time he slaughtered another War Elpht on a spearman dug into forest on the other side of a river(!). :deadhorse:

Peter of the English refuses to talk so we must destroy his invasion forces.

Sorry to call a halt to this, but it appears that the save might have become corrupted.

I opened my turn to find I am in anarchy, with my civics changed, including one civic that I do not possess the correct tech to be in.

Also, I checked everyone's espionage balance with me, comparing this turn with last, and the evidence suggests no-one including AIs has conducted an espionage mission.

Can I ask you all to go back to re-open the last turn you played, and check to see what civics you have for me, and report either here or via email ?

My proposal would be to go back to the turn before it 'goes wrong' and ask the previous player to re-play their turn, then take it from there, and see if we can lose this.

Also, if anyone has what they would submit as a logical explanation for this, please let me know.

I'v got:
1210ad = Hereditary, Bureaucracy, Slavery, Decentral, Organized Rel
1230ad = Represent, Barbarism, Slavery, Decentral, Organized Rel

Seems your citizens may have taken action on their own. Or leader issued wrong changes?

It's not possible for either myself or my citizens to move to Representation without the appropriate tech.
Also, as old as I am, I would still remember trying to change civics in the middle of a war.
The save is corrupted somewhere.

Was your 1230 reading at the beginning of playing your save - just after opening - or at the end after you finished your turn ?
