For the World History posters, I will soon add a section explaining all the weird 19th century American political history stuff I always talk about.

Thank you, SN! I've gleaned most of your background and basic beliefs from your past postings, but you've also answered many questions I had about the man behind the mask. ;)

I believe Understanding is very important. Agreement isn't always possible of course ~ especially in the OT forum since it is so politically charged. But as mentioned in my own background, it's the things that we have in Common that are important, not the ones in which we diverge.

I have never really actually said this, so i say it now. I have effectively left this Forum, though probably not forever. Since the MP left, I folllowed it (See my Sig). I can be found there now. I will probably post here and there, although probably not in OT. I might join a NES or 2, time permitting. And no, I have not been around for awhile.

One last thing: What is the deal with the Post Counts? I remember mine being up at around 3,000, not I have lost at least 2,000 posts? Did you guys do a huge Stalinistic purge?

No, I don't care enough to get that done, but the MP posts never counted towards your Post Count, which is why I am mystified. If your Post Count goes below 0, is your account deleted?

It was an error, while they shouldn't have been taken away from your post count they accidently were. And for those who had more posts in MP then anywhere else like Wlievens and Pomsa, they just went back down to zero.

Oh, good, thanks. I didn't want to come here one day and randomly find that my account had been deleted.

As it is, i come here, try to log on as "Goober", or multiple variations, and fail, and have to remember that I am REALGoober. Anyway, enough Spammage for tonight.

Wow. Iraq. I salute you, onejayhawk. You are a true hero :salute:
Welcome back :salute:

Welcome back, J, and thank you. :salute:

Well, I know you're all saying "Where's noncon, that rugged, intelligent, handsome individual who is the reason I frequent this forum". Well, the answer is my ISP (AOL, for MarineCorps) has made a mistake, and I have been unable to log in. So I am not AWOl, unlike certain presidents (bwahahaha! My controvertial thing for tonight!). So fear not, I am still here.

Well children, tomorrow (Tuesday) morning, I'm off to Athens, Greece, for three weeks. Leaving dark, wet and autumncold Northern Sweden for a while. :D

Cheers
