I was surprised by my mistake, but not enough to question if I was right or not. We normally use this form of expression, but maybe I didn't use the right symbols to express it. And english has this bad habit of changing verb order when making a question, so it's even harder to translate this expression to your language.

You're asking a question there. If you meant "how did I get this wrong?" that is how it would be. If you said "I can't believe I got that wrong!" it just has an exclamation mark because it's a statement.

I'm going to Nuzlocke Platinum:
1. No potions, only heal at pokemon centers
2. First Pokemon encountered on a route must be caught, unless a duplicate of one already in the party, in which case I get another chance
3. Release on fainting
4. All Pokes must be named after great generals. My first poke is Napoleon the Turtwig.

Nice! That sounds like roughly the restrictions I usually use. Are you using set or shift mode?
It makes the game much more difficult and it makes your Pokemon much more special.
I kinda burned out of Pokemon around New Year. I've finished my Pearl, only have Steven in Emerald and Red in HeartGold, and I still technically have most of the post-game for White. I started a Y Wonderlocke around Christmas and a LeafGreen Nuzlocke, but I lost the LeafGreen one and got bored with the Y one.

I'll be honest, I've been mostly burned out by civ unless it's for a story. Then I want to play because I want to know what will happen next. Anyone else in the same boat?

I'm only burned out on Civ mods and Civ V. I never found 5 as fun as 4 and I've recently begun rediscovering a joy in playing Civ IV without a bunch of features modded in.

I really want to get back into V honestly. Also, I feel the same, I actually want to just try different mods, not just DoC all the time.
I have just downloaded C2C and started a game on Marathon.
Do you want to have a complete different game of civ? Try C2C. Mine is a bit bugged telling me I'm on the year 46000 AD (don't ask why), but it started on the ancient era (which was a mistake, I should've started on prehistoric but I didn't find that option box).
I have played several turns already, and I have a Deer Rider and the only thing I've been doing until now is fighting pesky animals that flee more then 50% of the time, but sometimes you tame them and they give several bonuses. With Barbarian Generals option ON, they keep giving XP and GGen points, so I have 2 incredible units that tame animals once in a while.
It's been fun, and completely different from what I played of civ until now.

Yeah, my Nuzlockes are usually no healing items in battle, set mode. Just warning you, both combined is much tougher than either one.
This YouTuber named Marriland once did a Platinum Nuzlocke with the same conditions, but people got frustrated at him because nobody died in the Nuzlocke (no major deaths until after the 7th badge).
