The other day I was teaching my girlfriend how to drive a manual, it was both the most terrifying and most fun thing I have done in a while :p

You americans and your driving licences at 16!
But shouldn't you get taught how to drive a manual transmission in driving school?
I remember letting my last girlfriend practice on my car (she hadn't driven anything in a few years). "Aaaahhh there's a car coming towards us! I'd better stop and let them pass..." (She actually stopped.)

Anyway, stressful couple of weeks for me, had a job interview every other day, passed my next-to-last uni exam today, got the last one on monday, and the 1st of july I'm starting a new job!

So, sorry if I'm not updating much. Life got in the way.

In America just about everyone drives an automatic. It isn't like in Europe where manuals are dominant. I learned because my parents wanted me too. Also we understand Noyyau, it's okay :D

I haven't tried to learn to drive yet, but my sister is the only one I know who still drives a manual. Everybody else drives automatic, and I don't know of anyone else besides my parents and my sister who even know how to drive a manual.

Now you know me ;)

Here we have several manuals but also several automatic. But there is no driving school where you have an automatic to learn on, it has to be manual.

TBH, I love manual :D
It responds much better, and you have much more control over the car.
If I pass on all subjects this semester I may get a car again (I don't have one since 2010 :()

My dad said that one of the best things about driving a manual (at least in America) is that nobody will steal it because few people know how to drive one.

From Wiki:

As of 26 June 2015, eighteen countries (Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, France, Iceland, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, the United Kingdom, the United States and Uruguay) and certain sub-jurisdictions recognize the performance of same-sex marriage ceremonies.

And the list doesn't stop growing! ;)

A great day for the citizens of the USA! I'm happy for you folks :D

I think you meant a lot of, not several. Unless you just mean your family, since several means a few.

I do like manuals though, it feels like I have so much control.

Oh Greek, I didn't realize you lived in North Carolina. How is it down in Pinehurst?
