Oh, the weather outside is...

Snow :(

It is snowing here today, and yesterday I was driving around with the lid down in a t-shirt.

Today has a really cold wind and I've already put my winter coat away! :(

We had a little here in Surrey - nothing settled, but it was clearly snow falling.

It started sleeting here too. (I say sleet, because it was also mixed with bright sunlight and looked more like rain than snow.)

Hail, followed by fluffy snow and now it's sunny. Warm in the sunshine too.

It's the end days I tell ya :old:

Yesterday it was around +20C, today the high will be around +5C with a chance of snow. Even if we do get some snow (now or the rest of the season) we'll be way behind our seasonal average:

That's what we had for over a week but now we are back stepping to winter mode again. I'm fine with both spring and winter at this time of year but I'd prefer them to be consecutively once a year, not playing seasonal ping-pong.
-10C nights and +2C days expected for a week. Mowing the lawn wasn't planned for next week but I was hoping to do outside something more invigorating than watching the snow not melting.

High 60s and sunny this afternoon. :)

Snow on ground, a bit from above, few degrees above freezing but it won't impact my outside nap on hay with cats on me. Never.
4 cats = the warmth of a heavy quilt, with the added bonus of purring and face washing (for the cat who's close enough).

We've been having wind storms the last couple of days.

Well, the few days of extra winter we had are over and we're back to typical British spring weather, i.e. wet.

Apparently Spring is very shy this year and after seeing grass again after months we're back to winter mode. 20(+)cm fresh snow and more to come tomorrow & Friday so everything is white again (good) and shortly will be wet (not good) again. I'd rather be planting garlic than plowing snow right now.

Sunny today great March and April so fair. Very mild weather almost warm even.

Rainfall warnings
PAGASA also said Eastern Visayas, Cebu, Bohol, Dinagat Island, Surigao del Norte, and Agusan del Norte may experience moderate to heavy and, at times, intense rains.

Masbate, Sorsogon, Albay, Catanduanes, Romblon, Northern Mindanao, and the rest of Visayas may see light to moderate rains, with occasional heavy rains.

Meanwhile, the PAGASA Southern Luzon Regional Services Division also expects Camarines Sur, Camarines Norte, Marinduque, and Oriental Mindoro to expect light to moderate rains in the next two to three hours.

PAGASA removed Southern Cebu from its 2 p.m. heavy rainfall warning list. However, the weather bureau said those in the area may still experience light to moderate with occasional heavy rains for the next two to three hours.

Meanwhile, the following places listed may still face risks of flooding in low-lying areas and landslides for those in mountainous places:

  • Red Warning Level, places which may experience serious flooding and landslides:
    • Leyte
    • Southern Leyte
    • Central and Northern Cebu
    • Northern Samar (as per PAGASA Southern Luzon)
  • Orange Warning Level, areas with the threat of flooding and landslides:
    • Eastern Samar
    • Samar
    • Biliran
  • Yellow Warning Level, where flooding and landslides are possible:
    • Bohol
    • Sorsogon (as per PAGASA Southern Luzon)

Rain is coming. :run:
