Blue sky, sunny, a few clouds on the eastern horizon (dunno about the west, as that's the other side of the building and I'm too lazy to leave the apartment to go and look), the half-moon is visible at 3 pm, which means I won't see it tonight, after dark (waves at it, hi, Moon!
).
Right now it's about -5C, forecast to get down to about -13C by midnight (with wind chill; only -7C without), 10% chance of snow (I'm reading this information from the Weather Network page relevant to Red Deer). If I were to go outside now, I'd just need my fall jacket over normal indoor clothes, single layer, no sweater.
It's gonna be slushy driving downtown, not good for people like me with mobility devices, since the department responsible for clearing the streets is dumb as a box of bricks when it comes to clearing the intersections and corners so pedestrians can cross the streets without having to wade through ankle-deep puddles or climb over piled-up snow.
