You can thank the two terms rule for that. Thank you George Washington.
Key word boldfaced.1) How far does your acatalepsy extend? Certainly not so far that it prevents you having an opinion on posts in this thread.
Either way you slice it, he just hasn't been a good president. He's pissed off everyone, liberal, conservative, you name it.
I gave em one. since he has came into office, gas prices went from $.99 a gallon to $3.64 a gallon. Is it strange that he has shares in the oil company that sells us this gas? Haha.
No, he still has em I belive. And yes, the president could regulate the price of gas, if it wasn't so profitable for him to look the other way. I garrentee you, if Clinton or Obama are elected, gas prices will plumit.Yeah...because presidents have so much control over the price of gas!
Btw, you may want to check your facts on those gas company shares. I am pretty sure he dumped those a long, long time ago.

Look at it this way....
Carter-low gas prices
Regan- high gas prices
Clinton-low gas prices
Anyone else see the connection?
I have the opinion that I do. You have the opinion that I don't. You're hoist by your own petard here.Key word boldfaced.
Opinion, Erik. You and I are not politicians and don't know the first goddamn thing about running a country. If you think you do, you're wrong.
I can't speak for Bush as he pretty much ran most of the oil companies he was associated with into the ground, so even if he held any , they were likely pretty worthless and may be bringing down the value of his blind trust. As for Cheney, he took office with almost half a million shares worth of unexercised Halliburton stock options and still had some outstanding as late as 2005.Wrong. Pretty sure he sold them once he was running for president, same way Cheney had to sell all his Haliburton stock and leave the company prior to becoming the Veep.
