Sigh... More leaders to add to my diplo text thread (;))

Did I miss a change here? I've got animals coming inside my cultural boundary and attacking my units.

I think they art hidden nationality units captured by neighbouring country's hurnter

I still think the civs at peace with the animals should be able to clear out animal lairs.

At the very least for hunters to get the totems.

No, they aren't. They have popped out of Lairs. The Griffon was a major pain.

From the changelog

"Barbarian animals can't enter/attack cities but will travel the countryside (this includes hill giants & trolls)"

so yes... animals will enter your lands... guess you better make peace with them :P

Totems can be gained by provoking and capturing the animal

What sputnik said - it is a dangerous world.

Fortified warrior (or two) should be able to protect your workers.

Is it normal that my workers start with 2xp when I'm running apprenticeship? (It's in LeadersEnhanced but maybe it's a Orbis thing...)

I supposed animals aren't supposed to have cities, right?
So maybe they should be forced to raze a city. Don't know if this would prevent the crash.

I don't think animules are supposed to attack cities at all :S
(Read changelog)

Yeah... now sending out workers became a nightmare -_-

The AI already had issues sending out settlers to found new cities... I didn't play a full game yet but I do think that will be worse now

It is, workers can gain promotions now, so should get xp, too.
Unfortunatelly I forgot to add aptitude promotion to them, and allow them getting free xp. Will correct that in the next patch.
RE: Animals attacking,
I'd like to report a repeatable CTD; when a boss animal pops on lair explore and then takes a city.
Can you please post a save? It would help me with fixing.

In fact they already are. But there was an CtD issue with demons taking cities, which are forced to raze them, too. So maybe it is the same.
The problem is, normal animals should not attack cities at all. Triple checked it, but maybe it required 4...
Well, I've been attacked by Giant Spiders...
The city square got attacked?

I guess you are against letting animals into borders?

Nice! When I saw the Hardy promotion, I supposed this was a new feature, as iirc, the Hardy promotions is from FF, for the Workers... :D

Yes, the city square. By a Giant Spider and by two Griffons.

Not really. In fact, I was thinking lately of trying that as I figured it would be nice for my gnolls to have a constant flux of things to hunt in their borders. But I also thought that it may be a real pain to have Spiders and Griffins roaming inside... Maybe you should tweak their power a bit?

Speaking of animals attacking cities, I once had a city captured by a Hawk.

I can see arguments either way for animals inside borders but, in general, I think there are still too many animals. They spread like locusts in areas that aren't settled quickly. Like every tile ends up with an animal on it: Last night was the most I'd seen: I stepped on a hill and there was a square of about 25 tiles (5x5) with 19 lions on it!

Ahwaric: One thing you might not have imported in CvUnitAI was a tweak which should lead to the AI sending more defenders with their settlers, and sending a defender with their workers. Doesn't work very well unless you have also increased the default number of defenders they try to keep in each city so they have spare units to toss around without risking city loss, but works fairly well if you did.

Actually I think maybe it would be better not to allow animals inside borders; the AI definitely seems to be having some trouble expanding. I don't know if animals go inside the AI borders as well, but either they should stay outside borders or the AI should send defenders with their workers and settlers as xienwolf suggests. But the AI has been a little stymied in my last couple games.
