There's no doubt in my mind that Osama is as dead as they come.

This was a man who loved to flaunt his actions and brag over his success. The only thing that will stop that will be either his death or health so poor that he doesn't want his enemies to see him such a state.

To many of his followers he was hero and to show his enemies they killed him would mean a great victory for his enemies and loss to them. That's why I think they are covering up his death. To cheat america of the joy of knowing he's dead. Simple spite on the part of his old followers and it's the only place they have any chance of preventing america of reaching a goal(the goal of killing OBL)


Plus if he's still rumoured to be out there someplace he can still be a figurehead and they may have more luck getting followers to join the cause.

Probably dead. BBC News ran a story a few months ago saying there aren't even any rumours as to his whereabouts. If he was hiding somewhere, there would be rumours and possible sightings.

I dont know, but if he is dead, he went to easy, so I'm leaning towards alive. His family is very powrful, and I dont think that they would cut all contact with him if he tried to get shelter with them, even if they say othevise. Family is everything.

Later it was confirmed NOT to be his voice. If al queda is sending out fake stuff it means they don't have the real stuff. They just want people to think that.

I think Mr. Bin Laden is long dead. The US Government is just putting his body on ice until the 2004 elections in which Bush 2 will roll out Mr. Bin Ladens body and say something like "Look! I got Bin Laden! Look how great a president I am!" and the American people will vote Bush 2 back into power, thus beginning a self destructive path to world destruction in 2006 in which Prince William will become the anti-christ and arrest, torture and kill religious people who won't worship him as a God!

Unless its China, or Russia, or western Europe, or any nation that has a substantial nuclear arsenal and the technical ability and resolve to give as good as they get.

Numbers and money will not win every war and it certainly isnt as simple as how you made it sound. If it was, then we wouldnt have n tonnes of coke being delivered from Columbia every day, we would have wiped the place clean years ago, why havent we?? because without a mass ground assault and undoutedly a huge loss of life, we cant.

I still think he's dead. The quality of the audiotape was very low making it easy to impersonate and difficult to verify. So low that one would have to record it in an unusual way. And why do that unless you had something to hide?
