March of Eagles looks like a fine game. The problem is that it is so bare compared to the big games.

Yeah the neon colours are a little too distracting and seem a little bit too blurry, although that might just be image compression.

I'm inclined to agree with Maniacal. The scope of MotE seems rather limited, when I could be playing EU3, Vicky2, or CKII. I guess I can see the small scope for HOI3 given the substantially changed warfare, but I'd have to be convinced that MotE will be enough different from EU3 and Vicky2 to be worth the smaller scope. And really... I'm less interested in the Napoleonic timeframe than the WWII one.

That said, if there's a demo, I'll probably try it at some point. But I don't see myself rushing out to buy it.

I have no idea what /gsg/ is either. Maybe some Reddit or fourChan forum?

edit: Does CFC delete 3chan++ text for some reason? I've heard it's kind of sketchy but still surprising... maybe it wouldn't be if I was more familiar with it.

CFC censors the fourth numbered chan yeah, even though it is far from the worst chan and there are parts of other popular websites that are just as bad.

/r/crusaderkings, /r/eu3, /r/paradoxplaza, /r/marchoftheeagles, and /r/victoria2 are the subreddits for pdox games.
