Both Pepsi and Coke taste the same to me. I would drink either without hesitation. Same goes for most store brands.

I prefer the sweetness of Pepsi. Though neither are at their best until in Slurpee form. Uncarbonated Canadian Slurpee form of course.

I have no idea how some people can't tell them apart though. To me the difference is night and day.

I've never heard Coke called "bitter" before. I wonder what you'd call dandelion greens .

I didn't say it was bitter, but a bit more bitter. It is more bitter relative to Pepsi while still not being especially bitter overall. (It certainly isn't as bitter as the Coke-owed Italian soda called Beverly, or especially its aftertaste. I was surprised that even one of my fiends actually likes that stuff.) I recall a video shown during a tour of the World of Coca-Cola states that Coke's formula is designed to stimulate all the various types of taste buds, which if true would mean it is at least a little bitter.



I generally prefer Sprite if I am having a carbonated beverage, though I'm ok with other fruit-flavors soft drinks too. Root Beer is good in Floats and probably better than Coke or Pepsi anyway, but I still don't particularly care for it.

Dr. Pepper tastes like sugar water to me. It's the only thing my parents buy, if we're getting fast food or getting a 3 liter to have around.
