I wished that it would have caught on as something for people would sing at anti-Trump rallies and BLM rallies. I.e. No, we're not out to "replace" you; this is your land. But it has to be allowed to be our land too.

Imo it's a bit too plebeian to serve as an athem, but it's certainly catchier and merrier than the current US one.

Well, after 20 years of sinking men and money into Afghanistan, an America that doesn't like long-term commitments sounds like a refreshing change of pace. My preference for a national anthem would be "America the Beautiful", especially the version in The Sandlot.
