Not to some people. If you told me that the current roster of warmongers won't be enriched any further in Civilization VII's life, then I wouldn't even buy the game. Knowing that Leonidas has a slim chance to get included in the future makes me excited for what's to come. I'm certain Firaxis can depict him with a historical paint that stays away from Zack Snyder's version. But If Firaxis doesn't want to add Leonidas, it's fine, as long as I can have a Spartan militaristic general or king as a leader for Greece.
I'd rather go with Pericles or Alexander for Greece but won't hate Leonidas if he's included. Hollywood aside, the actual story is pretty great on its own.
