Early in the evening, Watches Cows fell asleep, secure in the knowledge that he and his tribe were protected by the RNGod.
Unfortunately, His sense of humor tends to the bizarre: at night he was "indian," in the morning, he was Indian. Now, the villagers all called him Raj.
So be it.
Raj knew that the RNGod still commanded him to convince his other tribemates about the viability of following the willy-nilly whims of an other-worldly deity, so he set the village's wise men (3 guys with pointy-sticks) to meditate. He also secretly defied the RNGod, and the village's production team (2 guys and a mule with a hammer ~ not in a hammer in addition to the men, a mule wielding a hammer ~ what a sight to see) to building another warrior to explore the strange lands. With nothing to do but mine a single hill, Raj felt this was the more appropriate thing to do.
Of course, the RNGod made the warriors kill-crazy in punishment, and they were forced to throw themselves at any barbarians they could. [ooc: the two warriors we have have to attack any barbs close enough; they don't have to chase them] On his travels, he met an odd fellow named Alex, who hailed from America. He lives to the east he claims, and needed to borrow sugar.
Unfortunately, later, a bell rang before the wise guys were done, and Islam was apparently founded elsewhere.
So be it.
Raj directed the three fellows to think about the nature of the RNGod, whether he was but one, and a multitude. Later, we found out it doesn't matter, because another bell tolled.
So %^&%&in be it.
Now he was at a loss. He had two warriors and no faith to spread. He directed the mule to start gathering large stones together in a pattern. If 1000 monkeys banging away at typewriters can write super-awesome plays, then a mule just might be able to create something "wonder"ful.
But now, he also told those wisemen that if they didn't figure out some kind of faith, cripes, Raj'd even take Scientology at this point, he'd feed them to the mule, notwithstanding the mule's recent vows of veganism.
[OOC: so, 2 turns from both Meditation and Poly, religions were FIDL. So i set our sights on masonry>monotheism. Delhi is set for commerce production, but unless we have a 3rd spiritual civ, then we should be okay. Stonehenge is in the works.
We won't need a global objective or personal ones until Mono comes in (assuming we succeed), but the next player should probably only play until then.
Global Objectives:
01. t001: Found Religion: No Turn Limit, but no other cities until then.
