Ok...I can't load the save. Get an error something like "save is protected to ensure assets are not changed". Never seen that. Not sure if it is a version thing or something with the settings.
 
Ok, I see. I guess you have the sixth version of PAE he liberated on some german site. I have PAEV_beta2. For the map, it should be PAEV_beta I guess. Anyways, if I recall right, new versions don't overwrite, they simply create side folders. If you had it, you still have it.
 
I think I'm on beta patch 5. I see there is a 6 which appears to be release almost right after I last installed.
 
Ok, I see the problem. Trying to play God didn't do good. The assets I changed made this. Lemme see.
 
Ok, this was the exact problem. Perhaps, it's the number of entry or worse, the save simply cannot adapt to the new changes. It's protected. Well, we'll have to play the hard way! Do you mind?

EDIT: It's proven. It's a drastic way from Protect from Modified Assets. My HoF habits betrayed me. Anyways. Huts don't play a major part of the game. And I got so few techs form my past experiences.

Beta 2. I don't recall if I applied this patch. But I think I did.

Meanwhile, I'll prepare another save without Locked Modified Assets just in case. Will try to find a similar start.
 
No. I'm fairly certain I'm on 5. Looking at the Pie OP, I see it was released almost a day or 2 after I last installed which was around 4/21. I haven't checked that since.

Sorry, I should have insisted we verify version first. Sometimes small patches don't change much and can be compatible but I'm not sure in this case.

It could be just that you set Locked Modified Assets on.

How bout this. Generate some random game without LMA and I'll see if I can open it. If not, I will install beta6

I know Stonehenge was available for everyone before and then just tied to celtic nations with the celtic religion.

I'm not sure what you meant by playing god. Did you change something else? The xml changes for the huts shouldn't be a problem.

No, in ends up my computer just sucks. When I quit the game and starts a new game, it automatically fails. But if load the mod from regular BTS and start a new game, it suddenly works. All PIE's added python makes my comp buggy. A 32 bit sucks indeed. One day...one day.
 
This time I got "Login failed" and it quickly closed the game completely. I have not seen that in a while but that usually happens with versioning issues or incompatible mods.

I'm gonna install beta6 and try again.
 
Nope. Did not work. There's an error message in the middle that closes too fast before I can read it.

Anyway, I'm on patch 6 now. I don't like the way he set's up his patches.

Is your install corrupted you think? Maybe install patch 6. Maybe if I create the start it might work.


Did you actually open that save I posted earlier?
