The best pizza is made in those small businesses owned by southern European immigrants. I can get some fantastic pizza a few blocks away from my school in large portions for only $2-3 a slice.

Actually Dominoes has improved considerably, but yeah, I'd take the Hutt( over it. I haven't had Papa Johns in... forever.

That said, when it comes to REAL New York pizza they all suck.

I wasn't trying to say the Hutt is horrible, I do like it on occasion, but if you've ever had REAL NY pizza, its pathetic in comparison. Its like the difference between a Mcdonalds Cheeseburger and a real cheeseburger.

I agree completely with the principle that ketchup sandwiched between cardboard and rubber is not worth comparing to pizza made by humans, but it still cracks me up that people think their local pizza style is the only quality style.

Well yeah, I know, though I've never heard of Michigan-style

That said, New York does do it better than most other places. Chicago deep-dish does compete though.

Oh it's there. It's the only place I have ever seen BBQ chicken alfredo pizza. I'll never eat that crap, though.

Yeah, be fair. Not all locales have a local style. That's the poor folks that think it's worth arguing whether Pizza Hut or Domino's is better.

related topic, what's everyone's favorite pizza? I prefer black olives & beef with extra cheese, myself. Tried a local place's honey chicken pizza and it was very meh
