I looked sporadicaly in the GD forum and there are lots of warlords threads.

in 2 weeks ill be able to participate but now its slightly kinda annoying.

I would really think its a good Idea to seperate them.

I think you should make one as im not planning on getting warlords anytime soon, yet i would like to continue civ 4 discussion without worrying whether these 'tips' are for warlords or vanilla.

Considering the sheer volume of posts in the Civ4 General Discussion area, I think it'd probably be a wise move to split it up into two seperate forums, for the original game and for Warlords. That's just IMHO.

Example - in the Civ4 newbie thread someone started mentioning Trebuchet's. I can not find a Trebuchet in vanilla Civ4.

I joined before Civ4 came out and found it helpful in Civ3 discussions when posters used , and to distinguish the version they were discussing. Would it be possible to create an icon for with a "W" behind it (or a different color) to eliminate the confusion?

I think it would be beneficial to create a separate sub-forum for Warlords, like there was for Conquests. Confusion would cut down, and people wouldn't have to wonder, "Is this thread for vanilla or Warlords?"

Well, maybe encourage the use of tags in the subject headers, such as:

[C4] = Civ4
[C4W] = Civ4Warlords
